"this is it" Cas said unbuckling his seat belt.

"okay so first up, outer paint"

"Dean" Cas said glaring at him, Dean giggled

"just a warning it's probably going to be really cold" Cas said before he opened the door to his flat. He walked in first and flipped on the switch to the broken lights

"okay next, lights"

Cas sighed

"this is it, nothing special" Cas said bouncing on his tip toes "there's some chips in the cabinet if you want"

"I'm not here to take your food"

Dean looked around before he walked over to Cas and hugged him tight around the neck. Cas was shocked but he hugged back "I'm going to make this all better for you"

"why?"

"because you deserve it" Cas sighed and pulled away from the hug

"you stay here I'm going to get you something, I'll be back in 20 minutes"

"Dean-" Dean cut him off "Hey!, I'll be back". Cas sat down on his couch and wrapped the blanket around himself and waited. While he was waiting all he could think about was why? Why would this random guy who was considered a badass of the town have a soft spot for a guy he met at a café that didn't have anything, he didn't know how to feel about Dean but he was starting to like it. About 25 minutes later Dean swings to door open with a huge box in his arms.

"hey Cassy I got you a present". Cas sat up, put his book down and sighed at Dean. Cassy? He'd never been called that before other than by his mother

"don't sigh at me grumpy pants you need this" Dean sat the box down and uncovered it. Cas' eyes lit up and he couldn't contain his excitement

"Dean!"

"I know I know, I'm a genius. Now you have your very own space heater so you won't have to be as cold at night. Oh and I brought you some more blankets too but I left them in the car"

Cas smiled huge. "thank you Dean". Cas patted the couch beside him telling Dean to sit. Dean walked over quickly and sat beside him and looked him in the eyes, his deep blue beautiful eyes

"you have beautiful eyes" Dean whispered. Cas blushed, "you too. So green" Dean giggled. "so blue"

"Dean why are you doing this"

"good things do happen Cas"

"not to me!"

"well, maybe I'm just your miracle" Dean said sarcastically

"you're an idiot" Cas said giggling

"I know." he smiled. "I guess I'm doing this because, I get this feeling when I'm around you that is just, amazing. I don't know how to explain it, your energy makes me want to do so much. You inspire me."

"we've known each other for two days Dean"

"I'm aware"

Cas blushed and leaned into Dean to get warm. "you're shaking, Cas"

"I know. I'm really cold" Dean brushed his fingers through Cas' hair and hugged him tightly "well get up and let me turn your heater on. I got a battery powered one so you don't have to pay for it"

"thanks" Cas said wrapping up. Dean set up the heater in front of Cas and turned it on. "warm?"

"mmm" Cas muttered.

"well it's getting late and you probably don't want me here all night so I'll go get your blankets and leave you alone. Cas giggled "okay". Dean came in with another box filled with blankets
