Getting to know you

After Sonic and Maya made their plan, Sonic was at his locker getting his stuff for English class while also thinking about the plan.

Sonic: "(Hmm, get closer to my senpai Huh? I guess that would be easy to do.)"

But before he could head off to his classroom, he felt some taps on his shoulder, he turned around and saw none other than Rainbow Dash herself, this made Sonic a bit nervous on how she's actually here next to him.

Sonic: "(Oh my goodness, it's Senpai, I got to keep it cool.) Oh, hi Rainbow Dash."

Rainbow Dash: "Hey Sonic, can I ask you something?"

Sonic: "Oh, sure, what is it?"

Rainbow Dash: "Well, ever since yesterday at lunch, Zephyr got a bit angry at me when I told him he was sometimes irresponsible and he hasn't come out of his house this morning, so I was wondering if maybe we could hang out for a little while."

Sonic: "Oh sure, I would love that. (Oh my gosh, I actually get to have a chance with my senpai, I think I'll have to thank Maya for this later.)"

So after school was over, Sonic and Rainbow Dash then started talking about their daily lives and how they have been doing so far.

Rainbow Dash: "So, what can you tell me of your life so far?"

Sonic: "Well, I usually live with my siblings since my mom is in a different place, I hang out with my friends, one of them are my rivals when we're in a competition, but I never got to know my dad somehow when I was a baby."

Rainbow then felt bad for Sonic, she never knew that Sonic never got to know his father when he was just a baby.

Rainbow Dash: "I'm sorry to hear that Sonic."

Sonic: "It's okay, but what about you, how has your life been so far."

Rainbow Dash: "It's been going great, I'm in soccer team at the school and I also hang out with my friends too."

But she then stopped talking and had a bit of a worried and sad look on her face somehow, like maybe something happened.

Rainbow Dash: "But at home, it's not really that good."

Sonic: "Why's that?"

Rainbow Dash: "Well, ever since my mom died, my dad has been getting drunk a lot because he's now in dept, and every time I go back home, I would see him in the kitchen drinking alcohol and keeps calling himself a mistake, and all I had left to help me was my older brother."

Sonic couldn't even believe what he just heard, Rainbow Dash's dad getting drunk and keeps calling himself a mistake, it was so scary that he felt like he wanted to help her.

Sonic: "Oh my, that's so awful."

Rainbow Dash: "I know, I'm just so worried about my dad, I don't want him to get hurt or cause a big mistake, so to pay his dept and make him feel better, I try to find a job that would help him pay his dept, but deep down I somehow feel like it would maybe not help him feel like himself."

The blue hedgehog then felt very bad for her, he thought that maybe Zephyr would help her when all this time, she's been alone with her older brother and her depressed father.

Sonic: "I'm very sorry about your mother and your father, I know what it's like to have a hard life, but sometimes in those hard lives, there can be hope and friendship, sometimes some people can be very negative that it would be hard for them to see it."

Rainbow then felt a little better knowing that Sonic's there to help her just like her friends are.

Rainbow Dash: "Thanks Sonic, it's good to have someone like you to help me, guess we have a lot in common then we thought,"
