Chapter 1

Tina's POV.
I enter a dark room and it startles me my hair flows as the breeze blowed through the door as the lightning storm rages, and in one snap the door slams shut, but I do not bother to open it. I feel around the walls for a light switch and finally I find one I flick it on and to my surprise everyone was there. "Surprise!!! happy birthday!" everyone yelled with cheer. I was astonished a surprise birthday party for me!? "Wow thanks guys!" I said to everyone. allot of people were there like my mom, my dad, my sister Katy, my younger brother Jacob, my best friends Jenna, Kolby, and my aunt Jaime. there was a pile of presents on the table followed by a really big cake! it was the best day ever! after the party I opened presents, I open the big ones first as any kid would and I finish all the presents off one by one.

and after that we all had cake. it's my favourite flavour chocolate vanilla ice cream cake. we ate cake and had all our fun by the time the party was over it was 11:00 at night.

My aunt says goodbye as she leaves for home and my mom and dad head to bed but me Jenna and Kolby head upstairs to my room for a sleepover. it was a simple girls night we did each others hair and we talked about out crushes (Not trying to be sexist plz don't hate it's just the context) but after all the chatter it was 12:35 pm and I was gonna drop dead soon but Kolby and Jenna keep me up to play Truth or Dare. Kolby went first and dared Jenna to yell out the window I like candy as loud as she could, and she did, and for her choice she said "Tina Truth or Dare?" said Jenna.

"I pick Dare" I reply. Jenna whispers something to Kolby and Kolby nods in reply. "I dare you to go in the Dark Woods for 20 minutes." said Jenna. "What makes you think I would do that?" I said. "because we could tell Jason that you have a super crush on him." she replied. "fine fine fine I'll do it.." we walked to the entrance to the woods guarded by police Do Not Cross tape. "well what are you waiting for? go in!" said Kolby. "don't i get a flashlight? it's pitch black!" I said back. "just use your iPhone light" said Jenna. this feeling I got was terrifying I was about to go in a condemned woods for 20 minutes just because if a stupid dare, what the fuck is wrong with me??? I turn in my phone light and jump the tape, before I left Jenna shouted "don't be too long!" I wish I could just punch her in the face.

I walked further and further into the woods my timer said 15 minutes. even though I was scared out of my mind I was a little relieved. I walk a little further and I hear a snap, I turn around facing the noise "Hello?" I say into the darkness "is anyone there? Jenna I swear to fuck if that's you I'll-" but before I could finish there was another snap behind me, I turn around to face the noise and my phone goes off 1 minute warning, phew, I start to retrace my footsteps that were clearly visibly due to all the dead leaves. I walk on and I see this big row if trees that go as far as I could see and on one if them was a old sheet of paper, I walk to it and pick it up it says nothing. I look at my phone 15 seconds left I look at the sheet if paper again and I was stunned. the paper had writing on it and I read it. "turn around" it says. my phone is on a count down as I slowly turn around. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Beeeeeeep!"

As I fully turn around I see a tall figure with many arms and a pale face, I scream. my ears start ringing loudly and it hurts badly, my phone light is flashing on and off and it finally gives out.
