Chapter 9

Toby's POV

Natalie, Jack, and I are out for food, the others are going to find out about slender and where he is hiding.

We tried to bring him in to our little group once before, but that didn't work out so well.

Me and Jack run out away from Natalie as she starts to stalk some deer, as we run deeper into the forest we end up finding 2 deer. "Dibs on the fatter one!" Said Jack, "Fuck off!" I replied, as we approached the deer a quick flash of an object appeared in front of us, knocking us both to the ground.

"What the hell was that?" I said sitting up confused.

"I don't know dude.." Said Jack hesitantly.

As we stand back on our feet we look around for the deer we had been stalking. "Uhh Toby.." Jack said Startled, I look over at Jack, and there just about 3 feet from him were the deer, ripped apart, flesh and blood were spewed all about, one of the deer were still breathing, it had deep gashes and stab wounds in its side.

"Who the hell did this?" Said Jack angered yet startled at the same time.
"I don't know.. But my question is how?" I said puzzled. Then the mysterious object came back and struck me in the side, I fall to the ground, throbbing in pain. "Toby! Holy shit are you alright??" Jack says running to my side.

"Fuck it hurts.. Do u got any bandages on you?" I say hurting, he checks his pockets and nothing comes out but a blood stained knife, "no luck man, come on I'll get you home."

He puts my arm over his shoulder and carries me on through the Forrest, sadly thinking to ourselves that we are missing out on dinner tonight.

Halfway down the path we see the cabin, then I hear a cry of pain, I look to my right and Jack is motionless,

"Jack..?" I look down on him to see there are 4 metal blades piercing his abdomen, he drops me, and falls to the ground. I try to see what or who did this, trying desperately to get in my feet again, I loom around the area looking for Jack, he's gone? He's gone?!?

"Jac-" I got interrupted by the most devastating pain I've ever felt, "AGGHHH!!" I fall back to the ground, blood everywhere, my vision fades, and before I black out I see a trail of blood, and with it, Jacks faint body, and The Rake.....
