Episode 1

Place: Rodriguez's Mansion
Theme : A new born baby
Lucia's pov
"Rodriguez, Rodriguez come and see this, come over here and see this " I yell holding the test results on my hands shaking and vibrating simultaneously..
"Am coming honey" Rodriguez replies, his voice seeming distant..
 Few seconds later, Rodriguez runs downstairs wearing only a blue shorts..
"What's it honey " he ask using his eyes to trace my hands behind my back..
" Remember i told you I was feeling a little bit nauseous earlier in the morning" I say slowly, he shakes his head in agreement, his eyes filled with suspense as he tries to figure out what's behind my back..
"Remember I also told you, it's been two months since I last saw my period" I repeat again, as my hands shake in pleasure..
"Yes..yes..yes I remember you..." he stops and gasps, his face beaming..
"Is it what am thinking" he asks excitedly..
"See for yourself baby" I said and hands the test to him..
 He scans the whole content and starts laughing, screaming and crying..
"You're two months pregnant, I can't believe it " He says..
"You have to honey, it's true" I said..
  He hugs me tightly, then he releases and kneels down and kisses my stomach..
''Am going to be a daddy " he said and sobbed a little while I cried..
  Rodriguez Roberts and I have been married for 12 years now without any results, we've been to different hospitals and have been told the problem is from me, I was devastated and broken although I took drugs but no positive results, this tarnished Rodriguez image in the city being a very rich businessman and upcoming politician. His mother had sworn to make sure she threw me out and replaced me but her plans never worked all this was because Rodriguez loved me and I knew it...

Place: Katherine's Mansion
   Katherine Roberts looks at the message her step son texted her, she reads it with scorn and anger.
"Rubbish" she said and threw the phone on the couch..
"What's that mother,  you look mad " Anastasia says..
"Why won't I be mad, when that little rat is expecting a child" Katherine says, pacing around in her gold high heels with her arms on her waist. Anastasia stands up shocked..
"What do you mean mother" Anastasia asks, she walks tothe couch and picks up the phone, she reads the message Rodriguez sent her mom.
Her countenance changed..
"Impossible mom, this is a lie" Anastasia says..
"I hope so dear if not all our plans have failed" Katherine says..
  Katherine had married Rodriguez's father after his real mother died, she had brought herself and her young daughter into the family with the hope of exhorting all of Robert's money, she had tried many times to eliminate Rodriguez but her plans never did work, so she decides to take it on the wife..
  Katherine has been giving Lucia some drugs to avoid her from being pregnant, this had been going on for a long time and Lucia was not aware of it because Katherine had a way of bribing the corrupt doctors..
 "Mother what are we going to do now, if she's able to conceive, Rodriguez will give his child most of his properties and money, what are we going to do about it " Anastasia asks..
 Katherine smiles and sits down crossing her legs..
"There's nothing I Katherine cannot do, and there's no problem I can't solve " Katherine says and cackles..
Place: Rodriguez mansion
  A few months later
  Lucia's pov
"Rod let me do it, it's my job as your wife" I say trying to collect the vegetables from Rodriguez..
"No babe, am doing all this myself, you can go and sit down and watch any movie you like" Rodriguez says not giving me the carrots even as I stretch my whole body to reach, but he's damn tall..
"Babe I don't know why you like stressing yourself, I asked you to allow us bring a cook that will do the cooking but you refuse, I don't like my wife stressing herself " Rodriguez complains..
  I roll my eyes at him and walk to the living room, a knock comes up on the door and one of the workers rush to answer it..
  Katherine walks in, she's wearing a blue short gown, it's tight and exposing her cleavages more than normal. Sometimes I wonder if she's really a mother..
"Lucia my child, how are you " she greets looking at my stomach.
"Good afternoon mom" I respond and do my greetings.
"It's been long since I last visit, am so sorry Lucia" she says.
 I nod my head and look at the maid as she dropped Katherine's bag on the couch..
"Mom what brings you here today" I ask smiling, Rodriguez comes out of the kitchen..
"Mother" He says surprised but excited, he does his greetings..
"What is....my son doing in the kitchen and why is he  holding a cooking spoon " Katherine asks looking confused like what was happening has never happened before..
"It's nothing mother, am preparing lunch" Rodriguez says.
"Really " Katherine asks..
 Rodriguez nods his head in agreement
"You're making dinner while your wife is sitting on a couch doing nothing" she says..
  I pout my mouth and look away
"Here we go again" I say quietly but  Katherine's large ears hears me..
"What did you say woman" She asked widening her eyes..
"Nothing mother" I replied..
"Rodriguez am feeling a little bit tired, I need to take some rest" I said and walked to the elevator that was built months ago..
That woman and her drama..
 I get out of the elevator and walk to the room..
 ...Hours later...
"Honey wake up" Rodriguez says using his hands to fondle my hair..
"Hmmm" I moan a little responding to his touch..
"Baby cmon get up, you've got to eat something, you've been sleeping for the past 6 hours " He says and my eyes open wide..
"What??, 6 hours, I can't believe it" I said and sat up..
"Yes honey, you have to take something" he said..
"Surely I'll eat something, am famished" I said and pulled  his hands away so that I could sit on his laps while he fed me..
"What of mother" I asked..
"She left hours ago" he replied and dipped his hands in his pocket...
"She asked me to give you this" He said and brought out a tablet.
 I collected it and looked at him questioningl..
"It's for the pregnancy, she said it'll reduce the risk of child bearing" He said..
"Really???" I questioned and examined the drug..
"But the doctor has given me the drugs I should use, don't you think this is too much" I asked..
"Well you know mom has experienced it, so she knows what's good" He says
"Ok fine" I replied not wanting to argue with him..
"So you take it immediately after you finish your food" he says and lifts me up then drops me on the bed..
"I need to check something at the office, their some documents I need to check before the secretary signs them" he says and kisses me lightly..
"Bye" he says..
"You're forgetting something" I say and he looks back..
"Am sorry hon" he apologizes and kisses my stomach..
"Be a good boy to mommy.. ok" he tells my stomach.
I scoff
"How are you sure it's going to be a boy, am 100% sure it's a girl, because she's always talking" I say and he laughs..
"Love you baby" he says and walks out..
   I call on the maid to get me another glass cup of water to take my drugs..
 I ring the bell and two maids appear..
"Natalie you get me a glass of water, Sarah please change the channel to fear files" I say, Natalie walks out but Sarah keeps staring at me..
"Yes do what I asked you to do"  I tell her.
"But...but...madam Sir has instructed that you don't watch any scary program" Sarah replies folding her hands..
"Don't worry, it's okay " I said.
She nods her head and changes the channel..
Natalie walks in with the glass
"Madam here's your glass of water"  Natalie says..
"Thanks" I replied and gave her the drugs to dissolve in the water..
  She dissolves it but before she could hand it to me, a shrieking noise comes from the TV..
"Jesus" Natalie says and drops the glass cup in fright spilling it on the floor..
"Am sorry madam" she apologises and runs out to take a rag..
 I look at the floor in shock and realise she had emptied the whole table Rodriguez mom gave me inside the cup..
"This is bad " I say and look at the floor..
 But Sarah warned me..
I know exactly what to do, I won't let Rodriguez know that I didn't take the drugs at all...
  End of Lucia's pov..
4 months later..
Place: Katherine's pov..
"Mom I thought you said you'll do something, that brat is still pregnant and she's due" Anastasia says holding a glass of wine with her legs crossed..
"I don't understand what's happening dear, I gave her some drugs but it didn't seem to work, I just can't place my hands on it" Katherine says..
"We have to do something about the child and Lucia inclusive" Anastasia says and stands up to refill her glass..
"I'll do something honey, don't worry" Katherine assures and grins evilly..
Four days later
Place: Hospital..
Lucia's pov...
Rodriguez rushes inside like he's being pursued by a wild animal, excitement is written all over his face..
"My baby" he says looking at the beautiful creation on my hands..
"She's beautiful" He says..
"Just like her mother" He smiles at me..
 "She had your eyes" I say smiling..
"Yeah" he replies, he notices there's a little wristband on her hand..
"A.U.R.O.R.A" He spells out the letters written on the bed.
"Aurora" he says..
"I named her after your mother" I say , a tear drops from his face..
"Thanks Lucia" he says and pecks our foreheads, the nurse comes to take the child for final cleansing..
End of Lucia's pov
 Katherine walks in the hospital with a veil on her head so she's not recognized.
She goes to the doctor's office.
"Have you done what I asked you to do" Katherine asks the doctor..
"I'll do it madam, it's a very easy task, there's many excuses for killing a new born baby, I just want the parents to enjoy it while it's last" The doctor replies but Katherine doesn't looks amused..
"I paid you a good sum of money so you better do your job well" she says and carries her bag then walk out..
Lucia's pov
"We'll travel to the states,dubai, Paris ,England, anywhere you want just mention it " Rodriguez says, I smile and fold my hands around his..
"It's okay honey, as long as am with you and aurora, there's no other place I want to be" I say..
"I love you so much " He says..
The door opens and a nurse comes out with a sad face..
"Aren't you guys through with the cleaning, where's my baby" I ask the nurse..
"Am sorry madam, your child's no more" the nurse says..
My heart skips a beat
"My child's no more what??" I ask..
"What are you talking about nurse" Rodriguez asks standing up...
"I was  trying to wrap her body when I realized she wasn't breathing anymore..
'' No no NO NO NO, DON'T SAY THAT, MY BABY WAS PERFECTLY OK WHEN YOU TOOK HER,WHERE'S MY BABY'' I yell at the nurse, tears running down..
"Am sorry ma" She says..
Rodriguez lands his head on the wall..
He was crying.
I screamed and cried pulling my hair out, other nurse came inside but none could stop me from screaming over the loss of my first child..
My world had ended..
Nothing to live for anymore..
Aurora is gone
Wait, I can't breath..
Everywhere's getting dark..
I feel void
Rodriguez is yelling my name, I can hear but I can't respond.
Now I can't even hear anything again..
It's over for me...
