Comforting Jade

I wake up to knocking on my door at 3 in the morning. I get up and open it to see a hysterically crying Jade.

"Jade? What's wrong?" I ask.

"Jon and Joe yelled at me and told me to-- They didn't even let me-- They said-- Colby!" She sobbed.

I pulled her into a hug. So that's all the yelling I heard. My room is about 10 doors down from theirs on the same floor.

"Come on." I say.

I pull her in the room then shut and lock the door. I pull her to the bed and sit her next to me and she cries onto my chest as I lay my chin on the top of her head.

She calms down about 10 minutes later.

"What happened, Jade?" I ask.

"I-I got to the room and w-went in. J-Jon and Joe were already p-pissed... I asked what was w-wrong and they started y-yelling at me.... They-They called me names and a-a-accused me of things and then... They... They told me to never talk to them again... a-and they hope I'm happy with you and The Au-Authority. And then... J-Jon broke up with me." She says, sobbing all over again.

I sigh and wipe her tears.

"I'm sorry, Jade. This is all on me. If I had just left you alone, you'd still be happy and safe with Jon and Joe." I say.

She shakes her head.

"Sorry to put this all on you. I'll just go see if April, Celeste, jonny, or Josh are up." She says.

"No... Stay here. It's ok." I say.

She hesitated then nodded.

"They didn't let me get my stuff..." She says.

"I'll go get it." I say.

"Colby." She says, worried.

"I'll be ok." I say.

I peck to top of her head. I leave and go to the room and knock on the door. It was opened by Joe. He glared.

I stormed past him and grabbed jade's stuff.

"What the hell are you doing with my sisters things?" Joe asks.

"Taking them to her, in my room, where she's sitting and crying her eyes out because two idiots she trusts more than anyone on the face of this earth left her for absolutely no reason. She's completely innocent in all this. It's all my fault. But yet, you punish her." I say.

I leave and go to my room and close the door. I put her things on the floor by mine.

She was in my 'Hounds of Justice' shirt and black basketball shorts. I smile.

"You can stick with me... At work and out... If you want." I say.

She nods.

"Thank you." She says.

"Do you still love me? Even a little bit?" I ask.

"Yes... A lot. But... I love Jon." She says.

I nod.

"Can we maybe give it one more shot? If I can earn your trust back?" I ask.

She thought about it. Then nodded.

"Baby steps." She says and I nod.

We stayed up talking, laughing, cracking jokes, catching up, etc. Just like the old times. I miss this. So much.

"Colby?" She asks.

"Yes?" I ask.

"Can I umm..... Can I use your theme and have you be with me on RAW?" She asks.

"Of course, Jade. Don't ask. Just do it." I say.

She smiles. Jon made the same mistake I made. He let this amazing and beautiful girl go.

Jade and I fell asleep, cuddling.
