Loki moved silently through the crowd, head turned down and hands in the pocket of his coat, using sunglasses to hide his eyes. His collar was popped hiding some bruises and he had a barely noticeable limp as he walked. His body burned with the suppression of his magic imposed by Thanos.

Get to Stark. Kill him. Get to Stark. Kill him.

He winced slightly as the words rang in his head. A device rang in his left pocket, the notification was a message.

From Anthony ⭐️

We're still on for date night right?

Loki never opens it. There's a clear set of instructions, nothing could or would interfere now. He's trapped in his own head, screaming from the inside and pounding on the walls of the cage that Thanos created in his mind again. It's just like before, he can't control movements, his body operating on its own.

From Anthony⭐️

Loki? Is this because I made fun of your boots? Because I was joking. Mostly...

He's standing in the lobby of the Tower now, he's given access without a second thought— he's Loki after all, if anyone tries to stop him they answered to Tony directly. He stood in the elevator with no expression, going all the way up to the penthouse, without interruption. The doors opened and he winced again, the part of him that was trapped was only growing louder, but he couldn't break through. His eyes welled with tears but that was all. He stepped out and looked to see Tony preparing a couple of drinks, he was probably notified when Loki arrived at the Tower.

Kill him. Kill him. KILL HIM. KILL HIM.

"Was starting to think you'd forgotten about me, Lokes." He said with a smile, but there was a hint of solemnity in his voice.

Loki smiled slightly, removing his sunglasses but avoiding meeting Tony's eyes.

"I could never forget about you, darling. I was simply picking up something and I couldn't respond." There was nothing different about the way he spoke or carried himself, the pain in his leg was also gone.

Tony shook his head and laughed a little, "You know, you're still so weird. But that's why I love ya, Reindeer Games." He picked up both glasses, the ice clinking in them as he walked over. He offered one up to Loki, his expression soft and searching. Something was off, he knew his Loki. "Drink up, buttercup, you need to take a-" he cut himself off and frowned, and set the drinks quickly on the small coffee table. His hands move to gently touch the bruises on his neck. "Who did this to you!?" He took Loki's face in his hands, "Loki, answer me, who did this!?"

Loki turned away and closed his eyes. He took hold of Tony's wrists and pulled his hands away. "No one. Anthony, I need you to listen..."

Tony frowned and pulled his hands close to his chest, looking up at Loki with confusion strewn across his face, "Wh-What? What is it?" He tried to keep calm, but he felt the panic start to rise- was someone coming? Who hurt him? Why was he bruised up? He noticed the marks on his face too, what was happening?

Loki opened his eyes and looked right into Tony's, bright, shining and sharp blue eyes meeting soft brown worried eyes. It hits Tony like a bullet. He tries to take a step back but he's stopped by Loki's cold, slender hand wrapped tight around his throat. Tony chokes for air, and he starts to claw at Loki's hand, he tries to kick, to do anything, to silently plead with his eyes, to cry out, to ask why.

Loki grins, and he begins to walk towards the large windows, holding Tony high in the air.

"Let it be known to you, Stark, that the last thing you'll know is that I never loved you. I never cared for you, and every touch of our lips and skin and mind we're all false. They were all to get closer, to let this hurt more than it ever could have if I just did it from the beginning.." he smirked. "But now you're nothing."

With that, Loki drew Tony back and threw him full force at the glass window. When his body hit the glass and shattered it, Loki's eyes turned back to their regular green, and his expression changed from one of malice to one of terror. The color drained from his face and he helplessly reached his arms out to grab him knowing it would be useless.

"Anthony, NO!" He cried out and then groaned as his body had its magic rush back in one swift moment. After he had the sensation of burning leave his fingers, he channeled all his power to send himself to the street below, where there was already a crowd around what was left of the great Tony Stark.

Loki screamed over and over as he fell to his knees, his grief and power mixing to create a field of energy around them both, hands over his face as he sobbed and cried, "No no, please, I'm sorry I'm so sorry, I'm sorry, Anthony, please..." his hands shakily hovered over the body that sat in a pool of blood, his body no longer recognizable. "Anthony please... why..." he continued to sob. His life lost meaning without Tony.

He heard the voices in his head rejoicing, and Thanos laughing, the disgusting sound a cacophony in his brain.
With Stark out of the way... he'd be unstoppable.
