Casting A Circle 🤫

* firstly find a safe space.
- always remember to make sure it's private.
- someone interrupting can be a huge danger to the castor themselves.

* purify your area.
- tidy up (physical)
- meditate (spiritual)
(?) using a cleansing agent like witch Hazel, sage, patchouli or lavender works.
(?) putting a few drops in the corners of the room or around your circle too.

* set the bound of your circle.
-do this by drawing with chalk
- sprinkling saltwater in a circle
-lay a cord in a circle (don't forget to tie it!)
(?) if your outside use natural things like rocks.

*place all the things you need inside your circle.
-once you start your going to want to stay inside.
- you cannot leave until your done with the spell!!
-offer something to the spirit.
(?) other items sometimes used are totems, black candles, crystals, knives, bells, bowls of salt and bowls of water.
-bring what you need to your alter.
(?) use a small black table cloth
-alter should face north.

* if you don't already know them , find the four cardinal directions using a compass
(?) North, south , east , west .

* place a simple representation of each four of the elements at each corresponding point around your imagined circle .
(?) About 5 feet in diameter .
(?) Earth - north
(?) Air - east
(?) Fire -south
(?) Water - west

* stand facing east , in the centre of the circle .
-relax and breath until you feel calm , centred ans present .
- envision the wind whipping around you and say
"spirits of the air , I call on you "

* now say with the three other elements do the same .
-envision yourself surrounded by fire then water then earth and say
"Spirits of the _____ , I call on you "

* facing north , become aware of your feet and send a beam of light deep into the earth then bring it up into your body and say
" mother earth , I call on you "

* next send a beam of light from your head into the sky and say
"Father sky , I call on you "

*feel protected from all sides , top and bottom .
Then say
"Thank you , thank you ,thank you . The circle is casted . Blessed be . "

* now sit in the centre of your circle and meditate or work your magic of choice .
