13 reasons ~why~ would you do that!1!!

—i. the show gives no warning of suicide. such as a character cutting her wrists shown on camera.

—ii. there is no help shown. the suicide or bullying hotline number is not displayed at all during, after, or before the show. at all. though the creator was advised and suggested to add one...

—iii. a girl is shown actually cutting her wrists in the bathtub on camera. there is no warning.

—iv.       simplifies suicide and selfharm. thats not okay...

—v.         hannah blames others for her death.

—vi.        the school deals very badly with hannahs death.

—vii.        the counselor doesnt take hannah seriously. in reality, you wouldnt find this. ever.

—viii. depicts self-harm as an alternative to suicide though its much more than that.

—ix. hannah says that had clay loved her, she wouldn't had been dead.

—x.           the scenes are ~way~ too graphic to be shown on tv.

—xi. breaks many national suicide helpline guidelines.

—xii. there is no advice or help for people [really] dealing with these issues.

—xiii.       the only character development for hannah is around her mental illness.

there. 13 reasons why i dont watch 13 reasons why. as you can see, this is a very problematic show and you would think that if they were making a show about suicide, they would add more help and such. thanks for listening to my rant.

no hate towards the actors. theyre just trying to do their job. and for example. kathrine langford. shes a fantastic actor but she just happens to play a very ~bad~ character. and dylan minnette or however its spelled, i constantly listen to him in the wallows. anyways thank you and this is actually final.
