"Something new pt.2"

Sheena pulled up into the street where the party was gonna be at, you can hear the music blocks away. The streets where lined up with cars and people still were arriving, the party was held at a mansion like house. I stuck my head out the window looking at everything and everyone, "I don't think there's anymore space for us, unless we park all the way down the street" I said looking at all the occupied spaces to park.

"Mann, I don't wanna have to walk that far in these heels" Sheena said whining. "Just find somewhere to park or take me home, there's to many people anyway" I said as I spotted a spot not to far away. "Right there" I pointed to the spot, and with that Sheena eased into the spot and and parked.

We walked up into the gate to the house and people were getting in pretty fast. When we got to the house door, they were giving out wristbands. "Which one do you want" the guy at the door said, "huh? What do you mean" I said confused. He held up wrist bands that had labels on them, "Taken, single or complicated" he said in a rush to get to the next person. "Ouu, I'll take singleee" Sheena said as he handed her a red wristband, "I'll take complicated I guess" I said shrugging my shoulder, he then gave my a green wristband and let us i go through.

When we stepped in we were met with smoke and a faint lingering smell of alcohol. I slowly looked at sheena, she knows I don't like this type of setting. "Lets go get drinks" she said ignoring my stare, she grabbed my hand and pushed through the crowded house, leading us to the kitchen. When we got to the kitchen we seen Kyle and Aaliyah, Kyle was on the kitchen counter and Aaliyah was leaning against it next to Kyle. "Heyy girls" Aaliyah said walking over to us, giving Sheena and me a quick hug. " hey liyah" I said as we pulled away, "Are y'all really to partyy" Sheena said as a rolled my eyes at her. "Zounia why you here, I know this ain't yo kind of party" Kyle said looking at me, "yeah i know, but Sheena dragged me with her" I said, "yep as usual" she said laughing.

I somehow found myself alone at this big' ole party, they all left me to go dance somewhere. I just grabbed myself a water bottle, since I don't drink and walked out to the back yard. There wasn't as many people out here as in there, I sat down on a lawn chair when this boy that was actually kinda cute came up to me.

"Hey ma" he said sitting next to me. I smelt the alcohol in his breath.

"Man can you get away from me please I'm tryna relax" that's when he leaned over to touch my face, I then jumped up. "I told you to stop!"

Don POV:

"Aye man ain't that the girl that was in the car next to us" I said as Jabez looked at the scene.

"It don't look like she know him tho"
I looked at him and we already knew what we should do. We walked over to the girl and the guy started looking us up and down

Jabez looked at the girl "I know you don't know us but do you know him" she looked at us and shook her head no.

"Man your in our business for what" the boy said. Andre walked up behind us.

"We don't want no pro-" Jabez said

Andre started talking with his mouth full "what's-goin-on" he said pausing after every word to chew

"If we have to have a problem, just know we didn't want it to come to this"

The man stumbled towards us "I hate doing this to kids" he said raising his arm to swing. Jabez pushed him back. I stepped up to him and started punching him. Andre was on the side jumping around taking bites out of the burrito and Jabez went to go talk to the girl. Tommy came out of no where and slapped the burrito out of Andres hand.

"All this is going on and you eating!" Tommy said pushing Andre to help break the fight up. The host of the party found out what was going on and kicked us out, we went to the front and the girls friends followed us.

Aaliyah's pov:
When we walked outside with the boys, I noticed the dark skinned boy was fine so I decided to start introducing everyone.
"Hey I'm Aaliyah, this is Kyle, sheena, and the girl you saved is zounia." The boy smiled at me and said,

"Hey, I'm don, this is Jabez, tommy, and Andre." The dark skinned boy said. I guess I can't call him that no more.

"We should all hang out on some friendly type stuff to be honest" Andre said licking the leftover burrito sauce off of his fingers. We all laughed.

"Man I'm sorry we got eachother kicked out"Jabez said laughing. I could tell he wanted to say something about the bracelets we all had on. I could see he was peeping at our bracelets and he was playing with his.

"It's fine, what color bracelets y'all got on" Kyle said smiling.

"Red" they all said at once

We laughed " us too except zounia"

"That sucks" Andre said walking to sit on the curb next to Kyle and zounia.

"Who's the guy that got you having a complicated relationship" Jabez said looking at zounia " I could've done better" I said low so only don heard me and he gave me that look.

I looked at zounia she was uncomfortable. I gave don my number to have contact with us, and for other reasons I guess..

"Alright bye y'all" zounia said

"She talks!?" They all said at the same time. Zounia flipped them off then got into the car laughing as they laughed at her. I looked at don one last time and smiled.... I need to stop they said strictly friendly, or so I thought.
