The year was 1997. I never expected that year to change my life forever, but it did when I met a girl - no, she was no girl, she was all woman. Her name was Tiffany Valentine.
I knew from the moment that I saw her I was obsessed and that I would do anything for her, anything to have her, and anything for her. Little did I know that would lead me on a year long killing spree that not only almost cost me my life, but my sanity as well.
You see, Tiff was on the hunt. She told me that she was a collector of sorts, a collector that collected very specific things. I thought she was crazy when she finally told me what she was looking for was a doll. She told me stories of Charles Lee Ray, "The Lakeshore Strangler", and how with the help of voodoo he had transferred himself into this Good Guy doll. She told me that she planned on finding him and helping him get back to the life he once had.
I knew that the stories were insane and that she was as well, but how I could I deny her? I loved her. I absolutely loved her from her looks to her personality, I just was absolutely obsessed!
That's what lead me on this crazy journey and lead to me telling you this story today, but to fully understand what happened and how things got to the point they did you'll have to go back to the very beginning, before all of this happened.
I was just an advantage girl from a small town in NJ, working a dead end job to start my so called 'life'. I really didn't have one at the time; to me, I was nothing special. Although I'd always been told that I was very attractive, I never felt that way until I meet Tiff. That is, I was just a shy dark haired girl with hopeful bright green eyes. I was not very tall at only 4'10", and it's not like I had amazing breasts or anything seeing as I'm only a C cup, just barely over a B.
Yes, I was just that average small town girl that wouldn't hurt a fly. I was that girl once, but those days have long past now. Just one year removed, that girl I just described is gone and she's not coming back. She can't, you see. There is no coming back once you've done the things I've done and seen the things I've seen.
I apologize, I've slightly gotten off topic, but I had to set you the scene just so you know how far gone I am and how I wouldn't trade my new life for anything in the world. Would you?
Anyways, I guess we should start with the very day I met Tiffany. I can remember laying my eyes on her for the first time like it was yesterday, from her blonde hair to her all black outfit. The moment I saw her I fell madly, madly in love. She walked up to my checkout counter, for you see at the time, I was just a lonely cashier at the local supply store. Little did I know what the supplies that Tiff was buying would be used for.
I remember very vividly her walking up to the counter, flirting with a twist of her hair a slight bite of the lip that I get turned on just thinking about. She came in every weekend for a few months, and eventually I got the courage to ask why she needed all these supplies and what she was doing. She looked at me with a smile and said, "Can you keep a secret?"
I had smiled back and said, "For you I can," and then laughed.
She laughed back and said, "I kill people." I thought that she was joking and not being truthful at all, that a woman with this level of beauty could never hurt anyone, but I could have never been more wrong and I could have never been more happy to be wrong.
As we laughed off her statement that she kills people, she grabbed my hand, looked me in the eye and asked, "Do you want to join me?" followed by that slight bite of her lip that never ceases to make me weak.
I smiled back and said, "Of course I would love to join you in anyway I can."
She winked, and with excitement she told me, "I'll be here to pick you up when you get off work, then."
The rest of my shift, I couldn't stop smiling and thinking of her. It was the classic case of your heart soaring and feeling butterflies in your stomach. When finally the clock struck 9pm and the store was closing, I laughed to myself thinking that it was time to go kill people. I believed still that it was just gonna be a normal date.
I finally managed to clock out and head outside, and there she was waiting, sitting in her fancy sports car and just filling her nails. I walked over as she saw me, she smiled and said, "I thought you'd get cold feet and run off on me."
I looked back at her and smiled, saying, "I could never run off on you."
She laughed as I got the car and said, "Buckle up then, sweetheart. It's going to be one hell of a night!" as we sped out of the parking lot, beginning our story, the first part in this long journey.
