a loud thud was heard from Donghyuck closing the front door of his house, the boy settled and sat at the couch with his bag next to him

he couldn't help to feel so happy and relaxed

"did I went to harsh on him?" he thought.

nah! he didn't care, he was happy because Mark finally left him alone and all it took was two sentences.

The tanned boy then opted for ordering pizza since he was too lazy to cook, his cooking isn't even that good anyway

so as Donghyuck waited for dinner he waited at the sofa and scrolled on his phone to entertain himself

he went through his chat and replied to some, surprise surprise there's Mark's chat that he hadn't read nor replied yet

reading the chat made Donghyuck's heart felt a pang, he somehow felt guilty and worried.

"no, I'm just imagining things, you don't care about him Donghyuck!" he reminded himself

not long after the doorbell rang and Donghyuck got up from his seat to open it

the next day Donghyuck went to school smoothly,

too smoothly.

he sat down in his seat and listened to music with his ear buds. Surprised that he was actually alone

he didn't know what was wrong

he expected his day to be ruined, as he liked to say, by something

or someone.

but whatever, it was probably just something from his head

"hyuck!" Donghyuck turned to the door as someone mentioned his name, it was Jaemin. he took out his ear buds and went to the pink haired boy

"what?" he asked

"let's go to the canteen, I'm starving" the boy told

"but school hasn't even started yet" Donghyuck said looking at Jaemin like he's a mad lad

"your point?" the other rolled his eyes and dragged Donghyuck with him

"why can't you go with Jeno or Renjun?" Donghyuck asked again as he was being dragged

"Renjun went to copy Doyoung's homework and Jeno was with Jaehyun" Jaemin explained, they had already arrived at the canteen and Jaemin being Jaemin was already drooling

"ugh whatever" the tan male sat on a table and looked around, he expected someone to come to him or like something, but no.

nothing.

no one was at the canteen except for the both of them
