[Ryouka's Pov]

I decided to wait for Takuma by sitting outside the academy and I made sure to chose a bench that was covered by a tree and a few bushes so that the  Guardians wouldn't notice me venturing out at night.

"Ryouka!" Takuma called.

I turned around to look at him and he rushed over with long strides.

"Sorry, it took so long! Did you wait for a long time?" He apologised before taking a seat beside me.

"Not really," I replied.

I have so many things I want to catch up with him on that I don't know where to begin. I reckon he's thinking the same thing since he's being quiet, unlike his usual self. We sat in silence, just enjoying each other's accompany when he finally spoke.

"How are things back home?" He inquired.

I didn't expect him to start the conversation on things back home so I was a little lost for words.

"Takuma...avoiding him wouldn't change anything. He's your Grandfather, you should talk to him more." I replied.

"I know." He sighed.

I knew Ichiou had high expectations of Takuma but his intentions would involve Takuma betraying his best friend which is something he'll never do.

I didn't like seeing a sulking Takuma so I nudged him.

"Stop sulking!" I chided and pulled his lips up.

"Ow! Okay, I surrender! I won't sulk anymore!" He exclaims while stopping me from pulling his lips.

We broke apart when we heard screamings coming from the other side of the bushes and the smell of blood followed shortly after.

"What's going on?" I asked as we make our way there.

When we arrived at the scene, we see two Day Class students fainted on the side and Hanabusa was drinking blood from Yuki's hand, while Akatsuki was just standing there.

"Aido-Senpai!" Yuki cried out.

Running towards Yuki, I grabbed the metal stick on the ground and knocked Hanabusa's shoulder with it, making him lose his grip on Yuki when he wanted to drink from her neck.

"Ryouka!" Takuma shouted before taking the metal stick from my hand and throwing it to the ground. When Takuma touched the metal stick, it had zapped him. It was only then that I realised the metal stick was an Anti-Vampire weapon.

"Are you alright?" Takuma asked, checking my hands for injuries even though his hand had just healed from the burn.

"I'm fine," I assured.

"Takuma! What's the meaning of this?! This girl just attacked me and you aren't asking me if I'm alright?" Hanabusa demanded angrily.

"Drinking blood on school grounds is strictly prohibited. Did you lose control from the scent of blood, vampire?" Zero ridiculed harshly while pointing a gun at Hanabusa as soon as he arrived.

"Zero, don't!" Yuki shouted.

"But I've already tasted her." Hanabusa challenged.

To serve as a warning, Zero fired a shot in the air, scaring the vampires present.

"Idiot! Don't shoot!" Hanabusa yelped in shock.

"Could you please lower that Bloody Rose? Its a big threat to us." Kaname stated as he walks over.

What is he doing here?

"Kaname-Senpai!" Yuki called out.

"I'll take care of this fool and wait for the Headmaster's response," Kaname stated, pointing at Hanabusa. "Is that okay, Kiryu-Kun?"
