Chapter One

"Scarlett! God sake Scarlett where are you?!"

I'd lost her again. For the third time. In 30 minutes.

"Scarlett please your mum will be home soon! Can you please just come here and get in this bath!"

"No Daddy no!"

I let out a huge sigh and stood up. "I'm coming to get you!" And with that I took of and ran out of the bathroom. I stopped and listened. I could hear two little feet runnin around down stairs.

"Haha got you." I whispered to myself. I sprinted down the stairs and as soon as I got to the forth step down..

CRASH

I landed flat on the ground. I turned around and to my surprise I found a toy. A stupid little bunny. For god sake Scarlett's toys get everywhere. I was trying to get up when I heard a key enter the lock and turn. In walked Megan, my beautiful wife. "Umm Louis, what are you doing?" she said with a weary look on her face. "I ugh I ..."

"Hewaschasingmebutdidntfindmeintimeandthenhefellovermytrapandlandedthere." Scarlett said then pointed at me with a huge grin on her face. Actually no she didn't say it she raced it out her mouth.

"What have I told you about pausing between words sweetie?"Megs said as she brought the shopping into the kitchen. "I. Am. Very. Sorry. Mummy."

Scarlett announced with unrealistic pauses. As she made her way to the kitchen I jumped up and grabbed her the the waist

"A ha! The big bad daddy got the princess and is taking her to his soup!"

"NO DADDY NO AHH I DONT WANT TO BE SOUP AHHHH" Scarlett screamed whilst trying to get free. I ran to the bathroom and locked the door so she couldn't escape again. "Right come here princess and take off your dirty clothes. Get in the bath."

"Fine daddy you win. but not next time" Scarlett giggled coming out from behind the bin. "Scarlett why were you behind the bin?" I chuckled to myself, she was one crazy child, but I couldn't of asked for a better daughter. "I his there cause I thought you wouldn't be able to see me. hehe I was wrong." I told her that she was an amazing hider and that I didn't spot her, even though I did. I helped her take off her pink and purple dotty dress then I took her shoes off. "Pop in the bath."

Scarlett shook her head very violently. I stood there rolling my eyes. I then picked her up and put her in the bath. "DADDY! It's really cold." I put my hand in and realised how freezing it was. "Oh sorry baby I didn't realise."

After I warmed up the water for her we played with her Barbie dolls and the ducks. 15 minutes later I took her to bed and went to mine.

"Hello hunny." Megan said grinning. "Did Scarlett enjoy the bath?"

"Of course she didn't , when does she?" I said laughing. I got undressed and put on my blue pj shorts and snuck into the bed next to my wife. "I love you Louis." She said to me then pecked my on the lips. We had been together for ages but even now she sends sparks thorough me when she kisses me. "I love you more, and thank you for giving me an amazing family," I said kissing her forehead, "goodnight baby."
