Haha idk how many people will read this as it is my least popular story among my readers, but I decided to update it anyway because it is personally one of my favorites. To those who will read it, enjoy! <3

"You did what?" Jungkook blinked, making sure he heard his sister right, "Did you just say you befriended a monster?"

"He's not a monster!" Luna protested indignantly, "And yes he is my friend."

Jungkook put his cheeseburger down and looked at his Noona as if she were insane, which to some, she probably was.

"Are you sure that's a good idea? I mean w-what if people find out?" He stuttered

"They-" She stopped herself. As much as she didn't want to admit it, there was no way to guarantee that they won't be found out.

"I'll be careful." Luna assured her little brother, "Besides it's not like I'll stop meeting Ta-Hi-Ung."

"Taehyung?" Jungkook asked, "Is that his name?"

"Well no.. it's Ta-Hi-Ung, but Taehyung's a lot easier to pronounce." Luna corrected.

Jungkook shrugged, "So what kind of species is Taehyung?"

"I don't know," she admitted, "But whatever he is, he requires a lot of water."

"Like a fish?" Jungkook blurted curiously.

"Possibly," Luna muttered, "He has gills and other certain features, but for the most part he looks human."

"I wish I could meet him." Jungkook mused wistfully as he began to count up the required pills he needed to take that evening.

Luna stared sadly at her little bedridden brother. That damned illness did this to him! Maybe if she had worked harder, she could've helped the scientists aboard the ship find a cure. Or maybe-

"Stop thinking that." Jungkook demanded.

"Thinking what?" Luna asked taken back.

"That you could've stop this," he said gesturing to himself, "I'm fine, Noona and I blame no one for the condition I'm in now."

"I know, I just," Luna sighed, " I feel like I failed you."

"Failed me how?"

"I couldn't protect you!"

Jungkook laughed bitterly, "It was a stupid illness, Luna. What were you going to do? Show up with a ray gun and blast the bacteria away? Threaten to put it in prison?"

Luna looked down at her lap saying nothing. What could she say?

"Look," sighed Jungkook, "I'm fine. It's just-drop it."

It was silent between the two siblings, both had struck a nerve with the other and neither knew what to say. Eventually, Luna rose to leave.

"You'll meet him, Jungkook. I promise."

And with that, she was gone.

Jungkook stared at the door where his sister had exited, left to wonder what his sister had in mind.

"Taehyung," Luna whispered, "I'm back."

She tried to alert the unsuspecting alien of her arrival before she swiped the card to open his cell to avoid a sudden scare. But much to her surprise, he was already sitting directly in front of the sliding door as if he had been waiting there this whole time.

"Taehyung?" He questioned cocking his head to the side. Luna mentally face palmed herself for using her brother's name for him on accident, but the alien only smiled.

"I like that. Taehyung." He stretched out each syllable as if savoring the new name, "Use that one more often."

Luna laughed softly, "Okay then, I will Taehyung."

"So what are we going to do today?" Taehyung asked as she emptied the content of her satchel onto the cold, metal ground.

"You're going to meet my brother."
