"Jane... Jane wake up. Wake up." Pan is the first thing I've seen this morning. Yay me.
"What now?" I turn over to my side and shut my eyes.
"Big day today!" I can feel him smiling as he continued to shake me.
"Go away, Pan."
"C'mon, Jane."
"That's Angela to you."
"Alright fine then, Angela. Let's go!"
"I'm not going any where with you." I scoffed.
"Don't make me carry you."
"You do that, I stab you."
"Guess you are fun after all."
"Just leave me alone, Pan." I said without opening my eyes.
"We're here."
"What?" I open my eyes to see that I am not on the same part of the island where I fell asleep. "Pan!"
"Well you didn't want me to carry you."
"That didn't mean I wanted you to go and transport us here!"
"It's not my fault girls can be so misleading!"
"What was so misleading about 'GO AWAY'?!"
He mumbled something under his breath.
I rolled my eyes and stood up.
"What do you want with me?" I crossed my arms.
"Oh, I just want to play a game! And figure you out in the process."
"What kind of game, and your not going to figure me out anytime soon."
"Just a little contest."
"I'm listening..."
"A contest... With the lost boys." He smirked.
"Oh boy."

I gulped, I've never shot an arrow in my life. I'm so going to die. Of humiliation.
I held the bow in my left arm, and knocked the arrow with my right. I pulled back on the string, and was ready to shoot.
"Hold on! Let's make this interesting! How about moving target practice?" He grinned mischievously.
"You son of a--"
"I'd watch that language, Angela." Pan interrupted.
I rolled my eyes and aimed.
Deep breath, Jane.
Deep breath.
I aimed at one of the targets that one of the lost boys were walking around with.
I let go and hit bulls eye.
In a few movements, all the targets were hit, perfectly shot in the center.
I looked over at Pan.
"I'm done here." I handed him the quiver and bow and walked away.
"No, no, I insist you keep it," He handed them back. "You've got skills, and your going to need to use them to survive on this island."
I nodded, grabbed the quiver and bow, and walked away.
Before I got too far, I stopped dead in my tracks.
"What's the catch?" I asked Pan.
"Consider it a gift."
"Yeah, I'll go do that." I said sarcastically.
I walked further into the woods and spotted a rabbit.
As much as I don't want to do this, I aim at the defenseless furry ball.
"I'm sorry." I whisper as I let go.
