You are new to town and the first person you meet is Henry Delarue, and you two have a instant connection and Henry shows you to the hotel where you will be staying until your house is finished, he is personally working on it with some of his workers and you should be able to move in a few days.

He knew your grandma and when she died and the house got damaged he took it upon himself to fix it back up for the family member who would be coming to take it over eventually, he also feels responsible for the damage because it was his brother who cause it before his timely death by the sheriff a real asshole, his brother had problems but he didn't deserve to die the way he did, god help the sheriff if he ever crosses Henry again, you laugh because you can see the tension between him and the sheriff the first time you saw them together it was very uncomfortable and you understand why Henry hates the sheriff so much, because the sheriff is an asshole.

You and Henry because close why he is fixing up your grandma's house because you go out and visit with him and his workers most days and most days you take him lunch and he finds that very sweet of you, so one day when you come to visit with his lunch he sends his workers into town for lunch themselves leaving you, him and your dog Maxell he is very protective of you but he likes Henry.

Henry likes Maxell too he has said a few times, you got a very good dog in him, and you totally agree you two have a great conversation while he eats you love the way he is fixing up the house for you and Maxell it's definitely going to be home to you both and you can't wait for it to be done so you can invite him over for dinner one night for all the hard work he has done for you.
