I was leading, gun pointed ahead of me. Bowie and Malley close behind and Madd by my side.

"Are you sure you know where you're goin?" Madd asked. I responded with a sigh and an eye roll. He grunted back, clearly annoyed with my choices.

"We're looking for room 560." I whispered. I had only just realized that my accent was lighter then the boys, that they're English sounded barbaric compared to mine. This made me wonder who I really was deep down inside.

And then I remembered what they had done to me, the Americans.

Matt had beaten me senseless some nights. I could never love someone like him, but it was all part of the plan. The plan to make us fit in but we knew it would never happen. I was his punching bag, Madelyn was his true love, but she didn't return the feelings, and neither did I. I was hit and kicked and I bled until I couldn't anymore.

Then there was Kyra who gave me a disgusted look every chance she got, she never wanted me to be friends with Jordan...

Jordan. The only person who stood by me through everything. Who knew everything. He brought me to the top of his roof once, he's a rich American so his roof looked over the entire city. We crawled on top of the green houses roof and watched the stars. I could've sworn he was going to kiss me until Kyra called complaining about the latest immigration movement. I walked home alone that night, the tears flooded my eyes until I was safe at home.

"Up here." I heard Bowie whisper, his rough voice snapping me out of my daydream.

We approached the door and Malley and Madd took off in a different direction. Unsure of where they were going, I shrugged my shoulders at Bowie and gave him the count down.

"3...

2...

1..." Bowies foot busted through the door making the wood split into two.

"Liam!" I yelled. My eyes desperately searching for my brother.

The teacher stood and her legs shook as Bowie immediately pointed his automatic at her.

Mrs. Humphrey the 6th grade math teacher looked at me through those brown eyes that accepted me years ago. She was a secret rebel as well, escaping well before we did.

"He's in the pit... He was looking for you." She said weakly. I nodded at Bowie and he slowly back out of the room after me, automatic still lifted. I walked to the out to the windows around the pit where I saw my brother.

My jaw dropped.

There stood Liam in the clutches of Matt. Malley lay on the floor unconscious and his automatic was tucked safely underneath him, his side arm, however, was pointed at my brothers head. Madd had his automatic pointed at Matt but Liam was clearly blocking the shot.

What am I going to do...
