I smell a strong and disgusting scent like a dead rat, it stings my nose as I inhale it. My eyes sudden squint as a bright red light hits me in the face like a ton of bricks. It suddenly dies down as I walk closer to it.
It was burning my eyes and I felt a sharp prickling in my pelt. I see armies of fire ants all over me, they're biting me and crawling in my skin. I start frantically biting, itching, and rolling on the ground so I could get the ants off.

A blunt force hits me on my side and tumbles me over. I could barely see what it looks like because I have ants in my eyes, but I could make out a dog-like figure that's very large. It's eyes are glowing green and it's pelt is a light color. I keep shaking my fur so I can get the ferocious bugs off of me.
The dog-like silhouette starts dragging me by my neck and is ripping out my fur. I feel trapped and tortured by this unknown being.

Suddenly, the burning sensation from the ants stops. I try to get up and my legs feel like stiff tree branches. I feel the dog's fangs sink into my neck, I start to feel tired and sore. I want to lay down and sleep but I'm stuck standing in place, not able to do anything.
My vision starts to come back, I finally see who it is. It's my brother! His mouth is covered in my warm blood, he licks his lips and smirk menacingly. "This is what happens when you don't listen to the things that really matter."
My throat has blood squirting and oozing out but I try to speak. "W-what do y-you m-mean?" He suddenly has a surprised expression on his face, he looks taken aback. "You fool!" He snarled, "you never recognize true glory when you see it!"
He then stomped the ground with his paw and cracks started forming against the rock. "Maybe you can think about your mistakes when you burn in hell!"

Suddenly, the ground started crumbling underneath my paws. I started to panic as I slipped through the ground. I fell down the large crevice and yelped for a saviour.
My brother watched in satisfaction as I fell to my death. I thought to myself, "This is it, I'm done for." I closed my eyes as I fell into the firey pit below me.

Everything went dark.

I couldn't see anything.

Suddenly I felt a tugging on my tail. I woke up startled, with my sister on top of me playing with my tail. "Finally you're awake!" She exclaimed. "You were screaming again, are you ok Steele?" She seemed very concerned.
She was the only one who didn't ignore my cries for help.
I slowly get up and stretch, "I'm..." I hesitated as I remembered how angry and violent my brother was in my dream. "...Fine. You don't need to worry sis." I reassured her as stalked over to my mom.
I nudge her with my muzzle and she lifted her head tiredly. "Do you wanna come play with me?" I asked quietly. She slowly got up and licked my head, "of course, sweetness." She walked over to the entrance of the den and licked her paw.
I walked up next to her and head-butted her side. "C'mon mom! Let's go play in the creek!"
She got up on all fours and called over to my sister to come with us. Mom gave her a quick lick on her ear, "let's go grab a bite to eat." Mom ran out the den and jumped into the bushes.
Me and Chloe stood there confused and curious. The bush rustled a little before mom hopped out. He was holding a plump rabbit in her mouth.
She dropped it in front of us and cleaned the blood off of her, "here you go, babies." I was so hungry I ate nearly the whole rabbit.

I heard a low growl in front of me. My ears pop up in alarm and I quickly run towards my mom.

"W-what was that?" I stuttered. Mom was showing her long sharp canines and snarling in the direction the noise came from.
Chloe ran over to me and hid under my fuzzy belly. "Are we going to die?" My sister asked me. I licked her cheek and rested my muzzle on her head, "we'll be fine, don't worry." I felt my sister start to relax.
Suddenly, a small lynx tumbled out of the bushes and started to giggle. I gave her a curious look, she was a light orange color and had strange markings on her fur.

Mom growled at her, showing her deadly fangs. The kitten squealed and went running back into the bushes. I gave Mom an upset look, "why'd you do that?" She glaced at me, "cats aren't allowed on our territory." I looked over to my sister, she was sniffing a black lynx kitten.
