Not One of Us

Prologue

"What's going on?" Lauren Jauregui asks as she's pushed onto a ship with multiple others including the girl that was in a cell beside her, Octavia she thinks was her name.

"Shut up and sit down." The guard growled at her, pushing her into one of the seats on the ship.

"Asshole." Lauren mumbles before looking around the ship, she saw many of the other teens that were locked up with her, including Clarke Griffin and the Chancellor's son.

"What did you just say?" The guard barked at her, he pulled his weapon from its holder and stared at her.

Before he could do anything Abby and Kane appeared to shut the doors and launch the drop ship.

The guard huffed and stomped away from Lauren, pushing his weapon into its holder again.

"Remain seated at all times." Abby says into the intercom as everyone buckles up.

"Where the hell are we going?" A boy yelled.

He got no response as the ship launched.

Finn takes off his seatbelt as their launching and begins floating around the ship.

"Get back in your seat." Clarke calls out just as two more boys take off their seatbelts and follow Finn's lead.

"Don't be so stupid!" Lauren yelled.

Finn smirks. "Come on, live a little."

"You won't live doing that." Lauren responded.

Just as she says that the ship begins dropping faster before crashing into the ground. The two boys that were doing what Finn was doing died on impact.

"Ugh!" Lauren groaned as she was thrown forward against the straps that were keeping her in the seat.

"We're on the ground!" Someone calls out, Lauren recognizes her as Dinah Jane Hansen, the girl known for causing an explosion on the Ark.

Lauren unbuckled her seatbelt as Clarke jumped up to look at the boys.

"They're dead." Clarke says softly.

"Oh my god!" Lauren whispered. She dropped down beside Clarke and pressed her fingers to one of the boy's throats, like her parents had shown her.

She didn't feel a pulse and her heart dropped to her stomach, he was dead and she remembered him from class, his name was Troy and he'd been put into the jails for a crime he didn't commit. She pulled her hand away from his throat and sighed heavily, looking up at Clarke.

"Let's get out of here!" Someone calls from the back followed by cheers.

"No!" Clarke jumped up. "The air could be toxic. If we open that door, we are all dead."

Suddenly Bellamy Blake appears in front of everyone in a guard uniform. "I say we open the door and find out." He looks toward Octavia. "What do you say baby sis, wanna open the door?"

"Um..." Octavia hesitated.

"You should be the first person on the ground." Bellamy says, his eyes shining bright.

Octavia still hesitated.

Opening the door, Bellamy holds his hand out toward his sister.

Octavia looked at her brother and then down at his hand then back up at his eyes. "I don't know, Bell."

"Come on, don't you wanna be known for something other than the girl under the floor?" Bellamy asks, blocking the exit so nobody but his sister can he the first on the ground.

Octavia swallowed. "What if it's toxic?"

"If it was toxic we'd already be dead." He responds, grabbing her hand and pulling her to the front.

"I don't like this." Camila mumbles as she watches the sky people, they seemed to be partying.

"Who knows what's out there." Lexa agreed.

Frowning, Camila looks toward her commander and sister. "They killed some of our people."

"They did." Lexa nodded.

"Jus drain jus daun." Camila says in Trigedasleng.

Lexa sighed heavily.

The younger girl begins watching the sky people again, frowning upon watching one girl in particular that seemed to be arguing with a boy.

"We should head home before they see us."  Lexa said.

Camila doesn't respond, distracted by the girl she is watching, the girl was so beautiful.

"Camila, come on." The commander demands.

Flinching, Camila turns to follow her. "Sorry Heda."

The commander made her way towards her horse. "Camila, you can not fall for them. They are the enemy."

"Yes Heda." The younger girl responds.

The commander climbed up onto her horse and sighed heavily.

Camila casts one final glance toward the sky girl before climbing onto her own horse and following her sister.
