Mornings with You
____Time check - 7:07am.
"Dore!" Lou said sweetly as she brushes strands of his unkempt hair away from his face.
He looks up at her with a small smile, and says "Hi, beautiful," under his breath. He's still a bit drowsy, but the sound of her voice has been the most effective wake up call to bring him back to his senses.
He sits up, with his hair still unkempt, eyes still squinting from the sight of the light peeking through the curtains Lou is starting to open up.
"Aysus!" he exclaimed as he took a peek at his phone to check the time — 7:25am.
They have a call time at 9:00am for an event.
Lou calls his name again, but this time with conviction.
"DORE! Breakfast now. We're going to be so late!" as she helps him out of bed while he clings onto her small waist.
They head to the dining room, Dore now holding Lou's slender hand. "Wow. You made all this?" He points, with amazement at the spread on the table — fried rice, hot dogs, scrambled eggs, and french toast.
She was never the type to cook. She likes to eat, yes. But cooking was not her forte — not until she met Andre.
She just smiled and headed to sit down next to him.
"After this gig, we're finally free for a while. I seriously cannot wait to go places with you." Lou excitedly exclaims as she takes a bite of the fried rice she had specially made for her and Andre.
"Me too! We haven't had some time for ourselves since — pero Mahal, this is so good!" As he takes his first bite of the fried rice. It was seriously good.
He caresses her shoulders and kisses her forehead in delight. He's impressed.
"Diba? I said I will learn how to cook. Thank you. I'm glad you like it!" She bashfully says.
"Talaga! What else should I look forward to next?" He winks at her hinting at wanting for more. He slides closer to her, and curls up like a baby while giving her his most adoring look.
They haven't had the chance to share alone time together after months of being busy with work events. Most of their days and time together are with other people. Luckily, their condos are nearby each other, so mornings like this are so much more easy to spend together.
So this — just him and her...
It's quite special.
"Cheesecake..." Lou said in excitement.
