The bell rings and everyone else started to go out of the classroom while Yejin still fixes her things into her bag.

"Oh, Wooseok?" One of her classmates sees Wooseok outside of their classroom. He bows politely as a greeting. "Why are you here? Isn't your class on the other floor?" She asks and Wooseok smiles as he answers, "I'm waiting for a friend."

"Ah, our friend?" Another girl asks. "She really likes you and she would love to go on a date with you." She says and the two girls giggle as Wooseok scratches his head. "Well, no, actually-" He pauses as he sees Yejin step out of the classroom.

"Yejin!" He puts his arm around her shoulder and the two girls' jaws dropped open. "Yejin?" One of them asked. "Yes, Yejin! Any problem with that?" He asks, raising his eyebrows. The two girls shake their heads and walked away with their other friend.

"What was that about?" Yejin asks and removes his arm from her shoulder. He pretends as if he didn't feel that and puts both his hands in his pants' pockets. "They thought I was waiting for their friend to go on a date with." He says and her mouth forms an 'o'.

They start walking out of the school together to go to the mall.

"Do you not usually go on dates?" Yejin asks and Wooseok shakes his head while saying, "Nope!", popping the 'p'. "How come?" She asks again and he shrugs, "I hang out with the guys more and like I said, you're my only girl friend." He tells her, wrapping his arm around her shoulder again.

"Can you stop doing that? People are gonna think you're my boyfriend." Yejin says and Wooseok tightens his grip. "Yeah, and what about it?" He says cockily and she rolls her eyes, but lets him anyway.

"Let's go to the shop where my dress is." She tells him and he nods, following her.

"Auntie!" She rings the bell on the counter and a lady in her mid-40s appears from one of the racks with a smile on her face. "Yejin, hello!" The lady greets her and the two greet her back with a polite bow.

"Oh, have a boyfriend already? In time for prom yeah?" She says and Yejin shakes her head. "No! He's just a friend of mine!" She quickly denies and Wooseok pouts behind her. The lady notices it and just laughs, "Teenagers these days."

"Are you here to check your dress? I already finished it yesterday and your brother's suit too." Yejin nods at the question. "Come here." The lady motions the two to follow her to where she had kept the dress and the tux.

"Oh, wow." Yejin exclaimed. "This is so much better than what I had in mind." She smiles and hugs the lady, "Thank you, Mrs. Kang!" Mrs. Kang laughs and points to the tux. "Your brother said he wanted a red tux, does he have a date?" She asks and Yejin shakes her head, "No one that I know of."

With his mouth agape, Wooseok couldn't comprehend how beautiful Yejin would look like wearing her light blue dress.

"What shoes would fit with it?" Yejin asks and Mrs. Kang uses a thinking pose, humming. "Heels would be nice. If you're comfortable with it then. Blue or white would match." She suggests and Yejin's eyes seemed like there were sparkles.

"Thank you, auntie!" She hugs her once again and waves goodbye, "I'll tell Changhyun about the tux!" "Take care the two of you." Mrs. Kang waves the two of them off.

"My suit is the same color as Yejin's dress." Wooseok mumbles but she heard it clearly. "Oh, really? What a coincidence, then." She shrugs, chuckling.

"What are we gonna do next?" Wooseok asks, his arm around her shoulder again. "I'm gonna buy my shoes." Yejin says, pulling him to the escalator.

"Omg, isn't that Wooseok?" They hear a loud voice behind them. "Yeah and ew is that Yejin?" The person gasps. "Why are they even together?" Someone beside that person answers, "Friends maybe?"

"Them? Friends? Wooseok doesn't deserve someone shitty as her!"

Wooseok rolls his eyes, tightening his grip around Yejin who was keeping silent the whole time. "Don't mind them, okay?" He says in a worried voice and she absentmindedly nods.

"She isn't pretty too, why would he even go for a girl like her?" Upon hearing that, the two immediately walk away and he dragged her to a random shoe store.

"I think they heard us." "Ya think?"

"Don't mind what they said, okay?" He tells her again and she nods. "Hey, don't be affected!" He tries to cheer her up but she stays quiet. "You're pretty and anyone would be lucky to have you as a friend." He smiles at her and she tries her best to return back a smile.

"Come on, let's go get your shoes!!" Wooseok excitedly says and brings her to different parts of the mall to find her shoes.

"So, I drop you off here?" Wooseok asks her as they reach her house. He hands her the bags of food, shoes, and other things they bought at the mall. "Yeah." She mumbles, her head down.

"Ahhh, are you thinking about earlier again?" He asks and even without her answer, he already knew.

"Stop thinking about it!" He whines and hugs her although she couldn't hug back because of the bags she was holding. "Okay. I'll try." He smiles at her answer then ruffles her hair.

"Thanks for today. I had fun." She tells him as she opens the door to her house. "Yep, me too!" He says, a shy tone in his voice.

"Oh, and one more thing, Yejin." He says as she was about to go inside. She turns around to face him with no idea about what was going to happen next. Wooseok walks closer to her and kisses her on her forehead. Her face turns red and he does too immediately after.

"What was that for?" She asks, thanking the Lord that she did not stutter at all. "Uh, for goodnight?" He scratches his head, shrugging. "Oh, goodnight then." She goes inside and he waves her off one last time.

And with only a door separating them, there were two hearts beating fast. One happy and satisfied and one confused and in conflict.
