Chapter 18

Tom’s pov

I decide to go to the café place two blocks away from my house. I grabbed the door right as someone else.  I look up to see Maddie. She giggles.

“What a funny coincidence?” Mads said, I nod in agreement. I open the door for her. She blushes. I really wish she knew I liked her.  We got in line to order.

“Mads what are you doing here?” I asked.

“Hmm I don’t know maybe to get some coffee.”

“Ha-ha Mads I meant what are you doing at this café?” I said with a little laugh.

“I was walking around so I decide to get something to drink. Plus this is one of the best café in this city.” Mads said I nod. “So what are you doing today?”

“I don’t know I was thinking about going to the movie after this. Want to come?” I was really hoping she would.

“Yeah sure why not.”  I would have start fist pumping if I were alone.

“So what movie do you want to watch?” I ask.

“I don’t know may,” Mads got cut off.

The cashier said, “Next in line.” I hadn’t even realized we were next. Mads blushes.

We both at the same time say, “Vanilla macchiato please.” The cashier looked at us funny, but wrote down the order.

We look over at each other and laugh. I paid for the macchiato. Once they were finished we started walking to theater.

“I must say that you have a great taste in coffee,” Mads said in a weird accent.

I raised an eyebrow at her before saying, “Why thank you my lady. Might I say you also have a great taste in coffee too.”  I said in the same weird accent thing.

After a few minutes of laughing and drinking of vanilla macchiato we were at the theater.

“So what do you want to watch?” I ask Mads.

“How about we watch the purge: Anarchy?”

“Sounds good with me, I hear it’s really good.”  I agree.

“Look it must be our lucky day. One is showing in 10 minutes.” This really must be my lucky day. I mean I get to hang out with Maddie all day.

“We would like two tickets for the purge please.” I say to the cashier. Maddie gets her wallet out. I quickly pay for both the tickets.

“I could have paid for my own you know. Maddie said putting her wallet in her purse.

“I know, but I asked you to come with me so it my treat.”

“But.” Maddie said but I cut her off.

“No buts allowed.” I say. We talked about how we thought the movie was going to be.

After we got are popcorn and drink. We found the perfect spot to sit. We didn’t really talk as we watch the previous. After about 20 minutes of previous the movie finally came on. The start of the movie was really good, but after like 30 minutes in Mads jump as this guy tried to kill this girl. (FYI I have not seen the movie yet so I don’t know if this actually happens.) Mads jumps as the guy went to hit the girl. She turns around and pushes her head in my chest. I smile at how perfect this is.

Mads looks up at me and says, “Why did we decide to watch this?”

I chuckle and said, “Because you wanted to.”

Mads turns and looks back at the movie, but she keeps her head on my chest. I wrap my arms around her. Mads smiles up at me, and then looks back at the movie. I feel like I’m the luckiest guy in the world right now. I was on cloud nine and I wasn’t ready to come down.

The movie ends Mads was still in my arms. We got up.

“The movie was great thanks for taken me,” Mads said.

“No thanks for coming it was my pleasure.” Mads giggles.

“Hey let’s take so photos in the photo booth.” Mads said pulling me towards the booth.

I put some money in before Mads can. Mads give me a look like, really. I just smile at her. We took the first photo just smiling. Before the second photo was a silly photo. Right after the second one I said, “Maddie.”

“Yeah?” Maddie said looking at me.

“Maddie I really like you and will you go on a date with me?” I ask nervously. Maddie looked shock. I was scared that she was going to say no and reject me. Maddie squealed and throw her arms around me.

“I would love to Tom.” Maddie retreated her arms. “Sorry.”

“ Mads it fine.”  I said. Mads looked away blushing. I quickly pecked her cheek her blush going deeper.

“You know you look beautiful when you blush.”I said. Mads looked at me. I looked at her. We jump when we heard a robotic thing say are picture are done.

Mads and I get out of the booth laughing. I grab our photo and gave one to Mads. They were perfect the first photo was us smiling. Next was the silly photo. Then Mads hugging me. Then me pecking her on the cheek.  The last one was Mads and I look at each other with huge smile on our faces. Mads and I look at each other. We were in like a trance, when Mads phone started ringing. Mads said okay mom be there soon.

“Sorry, I got to get going home.” I nod.

“I’ll walk you home.” Mads nods. We walked out of the theater.

“So how long have you like me?” Mads asks me.

“Since the first day I met you. I liked everything about you.” I say in all honest. Mads blushed. “So why did you say yes?”

“Well I kind of like you since the second time we met. I was too afraid to tell you, because I didn’t think you liked me.”

Before we could ask anymore question we were in front of her house. 

“I’ll pick you up on Friday at 7 for are date.” I said giving her a peck on the cheek. She smiled.

“See you then.” With that she was walking towards the door. I watch as the door closes. I started to walk back to my house. Once I turned the corner I did a fist pump and yelled, “Yes.” I really do feel like this was one of the luckiest days of my life. I finally got the girl I wanted. Well this was a get day. Thank whoever made us show up at the café at the same time.

Mads pov

I can’t believe that just happened. I put my back to the door thinking about how much of a get day it been. I going on a date with a guy I wanted to date for a while. He really like me too. Or at least I think he did. I sign a happy sign before heading up to my room.

A.N- I was really different writing this chapter. Maddie and Tom are so different from Blake and Isabel. I hoped you guess like it. I so happy they finally together. I hoped you had fan girl moment. I mean I wrote the story and I was squealing as I wrote it. Thanks so much for your guys support. Tell next A.n.
