It was plastered all over the news.

Every paper, tv-show, blog, online article, publisher, and person on the Internet was talking about it. There were articles, texts, rants, angry reactions, and opinions being thrown around like they were nothing, and they kept on appearing. No single online app or site couldn't be opened without the news and photo appearing on the screen, haunting the readers for hours afterward. The reaction of most people was supportive, understanding, and caring. They wanted to simply show their support to the hit parties.

"—the fire has been roaring for some time in the Queens Orphanage. Many lives have been saved by both the NYPD, the Fire Department, and Spider-Man. The children have mostly been rescued out of the flames, but how many are still unaccounted for is still unclear. Parts of the building have collapsed from the damage, and the amount of smoke is increasing by the minute. Children who inhaled smoke have been brought to the hospital, and are out of life-threatening danger. Unclear is the number of victims, but the numbers are rising as we speak. The source of the fire is still unclear, but it is said to have been li—"

Hashtags, photos, and sweet videos to show they cared and understood and they were there for him. News stations remembered the people of the good things he had done to show they should feel sorry for reacting badly, YouTubers made compilations of 'greatest moments of' to remember all the good deeds, bloggers made gif sets, and even writers wrote short stories about heroic actions —to show the people he hadn't done it on purpose. The hashtags got so big they were trending on every social platform. Even the government published a short message to show they felt bad for what happened and would support him.

"We are sad to have to do this, but it is, u fortunately, necessary. First, our condolences to the family. May your little girl rest in peace. Second— we would like to thank Spider-Man for saving fifty children in cooperation with the Fire Department, the EMT's and NYPD. Together, they saved many innocent lives. We also want to tell Spider-Man we are grateful, for trying. And we want to remind him that we appreciate him being around, despite what others say. Queens's Hero. Thank you."

The only organization that didn't publish an official statement, was SHIELD.

Fury had refused every draft the PR Department had shown him, every article they made him read, every message he had to see. Coulson tried to convince him of the importance once they were semi-responsible, and Fury had doubted it for a second. But then the picture The Daily Bugle had published flashed in front of his eye and he had to shake his head again. He had merely stared at Coulson. "Make sure that picture is never seen again."

Within a few hours, every site was scrubbed clean of the horrible photo. The three teams frowned as Amadeus freaked out over the fact that he was denied access to every single site that had an article about it right after he heard what had happened, desperate for proof, not believing the stories floating around the Academy. He pushed himself out of the dorms, earning disapproving looks as he started hacking into the sites.

"He's going to freak out more if he finds it," Ben had said. "He shouldn't have to see that."

"I don't know why people would post the photo! I have seen it, unfortunately, because some stupid people spread it all over the internet! Disgusting. Spidey, if you see this, know that we love and support you. Don't listen to them. And to the family of the girl... we're all sorry. I'm not sure how to help, but I would if I knew. We're feeling with you and we're all ready to jump in and help if you need us."
