Chapter 16

There he was.

Laying on the bed still, and unconscious.

You were sad..and heartbroken.

"I should have been with you"you said as you got choked up, nearing him.

The lump in your throat grew as you continued, "It wasn't your fault,it was mine!"you shouted but your voice cracked as you sat on the edge of the bed.

"I-I'm so sorry" while you hold his cold hand, all your emotions finally came out, as tears.

You looked down and shut your eyes, pouring your eyes out as if your eyes were a fosset.

What you didn't know was that he was awake the whole time, listening to you, then he sniffled.

When you heard him you looked up to see him slightly sitting up and crying softly.

"Jungkook" you let out a small whine as you move up and hug him.

He hugged back and slightly tightened his grip on your waist, while you buried your face into his neck still sobbing.

"It's okay" he says softly making you pull away slightly and look at him.

"No it's not, I shouldn't have jumped in" you say as he disagrees shaking his head.

"No Y/N, you always do the right thing, that's what I love about you, but, why didn't you tell me Taehyung was your boyfriend?"he says concerned.

"was",key word there" you say confidently, "Im gonna break up with him"

"Why?"he says as you get ready to explain, by the way your looking he thinks it's gonna be a long explanation.

You take a deep breath and explain very simply, "Boys are too much"you day making Jungkook, Jungshook.

"Yah! What do you mean?!" He says as you roll your eyes.

You put up one finger, "Drama" yoou put another finger up, "Extra" and you put up one more finger, "I wanna take a break rn, and focus on my life"you say making him smile slightly.

"Why you smiling?"you say letting him respond.

"I'm proud of you"he says, making your eyes widen.

"FINALLY!"you shout making hit shush you. "What do you mean finally, I've always been proud of you" you nod as he ruffles your hair.

"Hey!"you say taking his hands off of your head and holding it. He intertwines your fingers with his and smiles at you.

"Promise me, you'll never leave me"he says with big doe eyes, that you always fall into, trapping you inside of them.

"I promise"you say as you squeeze his hand and smile back at him. Slowly you both near each other, tilting your heads.

"Miss, Visiting hours are over-" a nurse busts through the door making you and Jungkook jump back and pretend nothing happened.

"Oh, I'm sorry, but you must wrap it up"she says as she leaves the room.
You look up at the clock and that it's 6:00PM. "Oh wow, I didn't realize I was here this long, must have been the traffic on the way here"

He nods and says a slight ok as you get up and sigh slightly. Jungkook watches your every move as you go towards the door, before looking back at him, making him turn away quickly.

"Stop staring" you mumble, thinking he didn't hear you. "How could I not, your perfect"he says making you turn around to meet his strong gaze.

Suddenly he winks at you making you a blushing mess, "Yah! jungkook stop it" you say as he evily chuckles.

He then opens his arms wanting a hug. You walk from the door and towards his side of the bed. As you enter his arms he strongly pulls you down onto his chest. But loosens his grip as he whispers something in your ear.

Feeling his cold breath on your ear sends shivers down your spine. When he whispers, "I love you, Y/N" you back up and kiss him softly, before pulling away.

"You know that may be the last kiss you ever get from me, right?"you say making him smirk.

"Nah"he says making you scoff and get up, but before you can fully stand up he pulls you onto his lap.

You look at him and make eye contact, into those same dark eyes, but you feel a little spark, which stops when he begins to speak,"Remember Y/N, your mine" he speaks and your still caught in a trance, but slightly nod your head.

He then let's you go, as you stand up and head to the door, opening the door you turn around and take one more look at him.

"I love you"he says once more as he gives you his perfect smile, and you simply reply,"I love you too"with that said you leave the room, and slowly close the cold door, to his hospital room.
