He's Gone

Morning After Part 2.....

We lay in each others arms, my back towards Bruce's chest. I feel him dropping little kisses on my neck, as i smile, loving the feeling of Bruce giving me butterflies...

His arms lazily wrapped around my stomach tickling me a little, I giggle and wriggle in his arms. I know we have to move soon as Alfred will be wondering where Bruce is.... knowing he probably guessed that we snuck off to be with each other. Closing my eyes thinking back to when Bruce grab me at the wedding, I never thought he would, It's always me that usually makes a move or it's something that I need help with, I kinda drop hints to him. Flirt with him a little. Never thought he would grab me, specially at the wedding in front of people, but it felt nice, it felt right. I never get close to anyone, the fear of getting hurt or letting me down. I always have my guard up. But with Bruce its different. I always feel protected by him. He's always there so no one can hurt me. If anyone got in the way, I know he would fight for me. Sometimes I run away if I feel my guard drops, I've done that plenty of times with him. But this feels different.... feels secure.... I really hope that Bruce doesn't brake away from me and goes and leaves anyway..... That's what I'm most afraid of.

Bruce disturbs my thoughts as I feel him nibbling my ear, his hand comes to caress my cheek. I turn to look in his eyes, he give the most beautiful smile. He leans forward kissing the top of head, my eyes close then I hear his voice.

"Are you ok?" Bruce could see Selina's eyes closed.. she opens them stares into his eyes and says "Yeah I'm ok..."

Bruce wasn't convinced. He knows Selina when she's quiet, he knows when she's thinking or somethings worrying her. He props himself up laying his head on his arm staring into her eyes lifting eyebrow "I know you.... somethings worrying you.... talk to me" One his hand goes to hers, palm to palm. Selina's stares at their hands together, mesmerised how big his hand was to hers "You have big hands...." Bruce was watching Selina mesmerised by their hands, hearing her voice made him chuckle a little "and you've only just realised that" Raising one eyebrow to her while smiling. She looks up at him, hears him chuckle then his voice. She giggles "I never really noticed" Looking back at their hands, trying to make her hands look bigger, but he entwines their hands together by giggle at her and saying "Perfect match" Selina's looks at their hands entwined nodding "Definitely a perfect match" then looks at Bruce and smiles.

"Selina Kyle agreeing with me, that's a first" Raising his eyebrows while staring at her. She raises her eyebrows "I do agree with you" Nudging her elbow into his side. He looks at her "Really" Shaking his head "Hmm hmm" He giggles at her, as she stares at their hands again. He squeezes his hand with hers and she squeezes back, looking into his eyes.
Bruce leans forward dropping a little kiss on her lips. Looks back at her "Are you really ok?"

Selina could see that he's worried about her. She gives his hand another squeeze "Bruce I'm okay....I was thinking" Bruce glares into her eyes, listening to her. "What we've been through, how we're always been their for each other, but still in the back of mind I know sometimes I run away." She moves her hand caresses Bruce's cheek softly staring into his eyes. Shaking her head a little "I don't want to run anymore, I want to be with you." She smiles. Bruce smiles at her. Listening, she doesn't want to run away anymore and that she wants to be with him. Not quite believing it himself. He caresses her cheek softly not saying anything, for the first time he's speechless. Selina sees his smile, like he's happy for the first time in a while. He's actually happy and speechless. 'Wow' She actually made Bruce speechless. She smiles back at him, touching his cheek again eyes going wide a-bit saying "Wow Bruce Wayne speechless..... That's something I haven't seen before." His smile gets bigger and shakes his head a little.... She matches his smiles, giggles at him while stroking his cheek. "Your cute when your speechless." While staring into his eyes. Bruce carry's on smiling and giggling with Selina. "You made me speechless....." Staring into her eyes while caressing her cheek "I never thought you'd admit to wanting to be with me....." She listens to Bruce "Selina..... I've wanted this moment for so long" Shaking his head "I wanted to tell you how I feel about you, since the moment you came into my life" Stroking her cheek gently while looking deep into her eyes. She listens to his voice, telling her that he's wanted this for so long and that he wanted to tell her how he feels. She smiles up at him stroking his cheek gently saying "I think that.... I've always known how you feel about me... I've just been too scared...." With tears in her eyes she smiles. Bruce notices and he wipes a few tears with his thumb, listening and understanding how Selina must of been too scared to admit her feelings for him. But she needn't be. Selina carry's on "To admit." Biting her lip a little "That I've always had feelings for you too" He smiles at her leans forward to kiss her gently on her lips, then pulls away staring into her eyes, her eyes closed then she opens them softly and smiles at him. He smiles back her and says "Your amazing.... Beautiful... Kind... Caring..." Caressing her cheek, he grins and says "Girlfriend that I've ever known and I'm glad that I have you in my life, that I've....." He stops looks at Selina. She smiles at him then lifts her eyebrow "Girlfriend" Giggling at him. He grins and giggles back. Lifts an eyebrow at her says "Is that okay with you?" She bites her lip, grins and says while looking into his eyes "Maybe" Then she nods at him. Moving forward he nudges her nose with his and kisses her, a long passionate kiss.
