Everyday they sit in decay, as we move along just like another day
What makes me more worthy that I should live on, while my peers should die on a public school lawn
What changes are made to combat this threat, are we okay with just living in constant regret?
You'd erase from the past what's covered in tears
And keep us contained for comfortless years
But truthfully we will all cary the scars,
Remembering the lives that passed quicker than ours
But shallowly breathing I'm mocking your system
Hope is a dove and your bullets have missed him
