Leaving Home

I wake up to the sound of my annoying alarm. Knowing today is the day I go to LA I excitedly get up and get ready to start the day.

I start packing my box's. I decided that I don't need to get a moving truck because I am just going to get new furniture. After about 4 hours of packing I get a call from my guy best friend Alec (he lives in LA). I pick up the phone and say "hey". As soon as I say that he starts asking when I am going to get to LA and how much longer will it be. I say "calm down Alec it's probably going to be a while cause I still haven't left Missouri". I hear a long sigh at the other end of the phone. I knew he was excited I just didn't know how excited he was. He just said "ok fine". After that we talked about the living arrangements and what we where going to do when I got there. As soon as we started talking about that Alec said "Oh yeah I forgot to tell you y/n we got invited to a party at my friends house". As I say "ok" I am nervous and Alec can tell. He says "we don't have to go if U don't want to". I say "no, it's fine I want to meet new people anyways".
