Chapter 4: Jack and Gabby, Normal Couple Things

(Jack's POV)

            You would expect Gabby and I to do outrageous couples' activities, but we actually don't do anything that crazy.

"Ok, are you ready?" she asked me as she sat in a chair with a video camera.

"Yes, but why do you want photoaged of this?" I asked her suspiciously.

She looked up from her camera as she answered, "I'm just curious. After all, it is something that normal people can't entirely do"

I rolled my eyes at her as I prepared myself. I jumped and twirled around quickly. An icy tornado appears around me as I spun around quickly. I began to freeze the ground under my feet as I kept spinning. I stopped and observed the whole area around me. Everything was covered in ice. I was about to use the element of fire to melt all of this, but Gabby wandered around with the camera. She was recording everything.

"I still don't know why you wanted to record this" I asked her.

"Again, we are not normal humans. Imagine the amount of views we will get for this!" she told me with a smile on her face.

I rolled my eyes. She was always invested in her channel and film career. I would always help her as best as I could, but I still never understood why she wanted to keep doing this.

"Besides, Pixal is investigating something with elemental powers. You have half of them!" she added as she finished recording the ice.

"What do you mean?" I asked her concerned.

Considering how much trouble they get into, it is always a good heads up to know what they are up to before we ever visit that world. Seriously, why do I have some connection to it?

"Nothing bad! After the old guy vanished into the time stream, the Ninjas have been off on their own. It's actually peaceful" Gabby reassured me with a wave of her hand.

I just smiled as she continued to play back the tape. Once she deemed it was good enough, we departed for Ninjago. I was a bit hesitant on returning here without any help from my team, but if what Gabby said was true, then I guess it is ok for us to come back here. Wow. The city looks much livelier than I remember. Has it really been that long since I was here? Haha. Wow. I need to visit this place more often.

"Come on!" she said eagerly as she took my hand and lead me to Borg Tower.

The tower was still standing. Well, that's nice to see. I wonder if we will Zane and Pixal here? It would be nice to see my guardian again. We entered the tower and ran up to the receptionist.

"Hello? How may I help you?" she greeted warmly.

"I am Gabby, and this is Jack! We are friends of Mr. Borg, Pixal, and Zane!" she boasted.

I rolled my eyes at her playfully. She knew what she was doing.

The receptionist gasped as she said, "Oh, then take the first elevator! Mr. Borg would be very pleased to see you two"

"Thank you!" Gabby said as she skipped towards the elevator in delight.

I ran after her as we boarded the elevator. The doors closed as the elevator went up. Something bothered me about this Mr. Borg would've updated his security around this place after what happened here the last time.

"You're making that face" Gabby pointed out as she faced me.

"What face?" I asked her confused.

"The face that says "Hm, this is bad. I feel like there is someone out there to get me". That is the face you are making" Gabby answered.

"Really? I swear you are hanging out with the Doctor too much" I stated.
