Journey to the center of Leo's spirit

(Note - Karai is on the turtle's side in most all my stories)

Turtles, if you want your big brother back meet me at the warehouse on the corner of fourth street and Bleecker, the front door is locked so go in the back. Bring me his katana blade. And you might want to hurry, With thunder, comes lightning.

Donnie read. “We have to get him back.” Raph said making fists with both hands. “It's ok Raph. We'll get him” Karai said putting her hands on his. “But we have to ask splinter what to do, right?” Mikey asked Donnie. “No” Donnie said. “No ?” Everyone else said in disbelief. “No. We are going to find Leo on our own. He's our brother!! I'm going to find him and save him if it's the last thing I do !” Donnie said being serious for once. “Ok Donnie, just take it easy. We'll get Leo back. We just take his sword to the warehouse and see what this is all about.” April said putting her hand on Donnie's arm. “Ok” Donnie said. “I don't know who's more emotional, Donnie or Raph.” Karai whispered to April. “Not to interrupt the girls chit chat, but we have to get our brother back.” Raph said. Then they snuck out and went to the warehouse. They went around back and tried to open the door. Locked. “Now what ?” April asked. “Now we beat down the door.” Raph said. “Oooooor, we could knock.” Donnie said. “Yes brilliant idea genius. Let's knock on the door of a guy who kidnaped our brother.” Raph said. Then they knocked on the door. One of Don Viciosos’ goons came to the door. “You guys took my brother !! I'm going to…” Raph began to say. Then Mikey and Donnie held him back. “My name is Shinto. Please come in” He said. Then Donnie had to hold Raph and the girls went in first. There was a desk in the middle of the room and there was five chairs on the other side of it. “Where's my brother ?” Raph asked. Donnie squeezes his arm tighter around his back. “He is with the boss.” Shinto said. “That's it where's Leo. Tell me before I hit you so hard that your head pops off and lands outside” Karai said lifting his shirt and him off the ground. “Let him go Karai” a man said walking in and sitting at the desk. “Dr.Falco” Donnie said. “Falco !!! You're dead monkey boy” Raph said. “Please sit, turtle boy.” Falco said. “Did you bring the sword ?” Falco asked. “Yeah.” Donnie said holding it in his hand. “Fantastic.” Falco said reaching for it. “Then April used her powers to grab it. “Where is Leonardo ?” She asked. “Finally someone took a stand” Raph said. “Oh, Leonardo is just in the next room. See.” Falco said pointing to one of the ten tv screens on the other side of the room. Leo was all beaten up and he was in an office chair with his hands and feet tied to the arms and legs of the chair. “Leo !! Falco, you are first on my list to die” Raph said trying to go after Falco. Donnie grabbed Raph and held him down. “Ok, ok, Raph chill” Donnie said. “You have my boyfriend locked to a chair with a thing on his head. You're not only on Raph's list. You're on the top of mine as well” Karai said. “Well Leonardo is incredibly smart. I need his brains and...his powers” Falco said folding his hands on the table. “Leo's not the smartest. Donnie is” Mikey said. “Well that's science. Leonardo is amazing in math. I am not. In case you didn't know that” Falco said. “I knew” Raph and Karai said. One one screen was the math problems Leo had to solve on a black chalkboard. If Leo got one wrong he got zapped at an electrical current that could fry him to bits. “What is that thing in his head ?” Raph asked. “That ? That's a Brain Boggaler. Thanks for the idea Karai” Falco said. “Seriously” Karai said folding her arms. “Give us our brother back, or so help me I'll…” Raph said when Donnie covered his mouth. “Enough Raph, Falco obviously wants to talk. What do you want Falco ?” Donnie demanded. “Woah woah woah, Donatello, just...calm down. I just want to examine your brother.” Falco said with a smile. “Examin ?” April asked. “You know, look at him see how he fights with his powers without powers, uses his powers, does math..., maybe fry him in the process” Falco said spinning his chair towards the tv screen. “Let him go” Raph said. “Not right away” Falco said. “Send in the Neuro Subatomic particles” Falco said into a microphone outside the tv screen. “Leo!” Mikey said. “Neutrinos” Donnie said. “Leonardo” Karai yelled. When they looked at the screen Leo had been unhooked from the brain boggler by two of Don’s goons. “You jerks are going to be sorry when I get out of here” Leo struggled. “Neutrinos.? Come on even you can do better than this Falco.” Leo said still tied to the chair. “Don't make any threats turtle. Or, it will be your last.” Falco said on the intercom. “Leo!!” Raph yelled loud enough the speaker could hear him. “Raph ?” Leo said looking up at the speakers. Leo used his powers and knocked the two guys out and he was too late. Then the neutrinos went over Leo and in his brain. Then the microphone flew off the table and right in front of Raph and he started to glow a yellow-ish color. “Raph ?” Mikey asked looking at Raph. “We better stand back” Donnie said as he let Raph go and April, Karai, and Mikey backed up behind Donnie. “What's what's going on ?” Falco asked scared. “Donnie, what is going on ?” April asked. “Since we are all brothers Leo got the psychic gene, and apparently, so does Raph, he just never tapped into it.” Donnie said. “Oh. So this is how you wanna play huh ? Well I've got a surprise for you too turtle. Didn't want this to be too easy now did we” Falco said snapping his fingers. Then Fishface jumped into the room. “Fishface ?” Donnie asked. “In the flesh Donatello.” Fishface said. “Nice look Raphael, maybe when I slice you to bite sized pieces, I won't need to deep fry you for a good taste.” Fishface said. Then Raph's hands glowed and he pushed a magnetic force on Fishface and he flew back and got knocked unconscious. “Yeah Raph !!” Mikey cheered. “Ok. This could get out of hand.” Donnie said. “You think ?” Karai said. “Falco you're next” Raph said looking at him. “His eyes, they're blue.!” Karai said. “Raph easy does it” Donnie said trying to calm him down. Then Raph flew over to Falco and picked him up in the air. “What ya gonna do now Mr. Boggler ?” Raph asked. “That's the perfect name!” Mikey said. “Really you're going to do this now ?” Donnie said. “I'm sorry that's how I deal with stress !!!” Mikey said. Then Falco took a remote from his pocket and pointed it at Raph. It zapped him to a crisp. “Raph !!” Mikey said. Then Donnie and April went over to him. “Raph ! He's unconscious.” Donnie said. Then Leo was in the room and they looked over at the tv and he was struggling to get free. “Leo.!” Karai said. “We have to get him out.” April said. “I know what to do. Mikey got that smoke bomb ?” Donnie asked. “What smoke bomb ?” Mikey asked. “The one I gave you this morning when we left.” Donnie said. “Oh yeah. I got it” Mikey said. “Good. Take Raph home with it and tell MS what happened and that we are here. Then I want you to call Casey. Tell him to meet us here. I'll text you everything.” Donnie said. Then Donnie texted him and Mikey smoked him and Raph home. “Good. At least he'll be ok” Donnie said. “Now to deal with Falco” Donnie said turning around to see Falco was gone. Then they went over to the intercom. “Leo! Leo! Can you hear us ?” Donnie said into the microphone. “He can't hear us. April remember what you did for Mikey in space ? Think you can do it for Leo.?”  Donnie said. “Yeah. I think so” April said. “Good. Now we have to find the room. Any bright ideas?.” Donnie asked. “It's over there” Karai said pointing to the door to the right behind them. “How do you know ?” Donnie asked. “I think I can sense my boyfriend. Thank you very much.” Karai said walking to the door. They opened the door and Leo had escaped the trap and was sitting on the floor in the corner in a ball. “Leo ? It's Donnie, can you hear me ?” Donnie asked going over to him and putting his hand on his arm. “D...D...Donnie...H...Help...M...” Leo said. “I will, don't worry brother. Karai help me get him to the chair.” Donnie said. “No..not...the...chair” Leo said. “It's ok Leo. Calm down. It's not gonna hurt you” Karai said. “April when he sits down I want you to connect to him. Karai you're coming in with me.” Donnie said making a machine like the one Fugatiod made the first time. “Not bad. It'll work for now. Ok April go !” Donnie said hooking him and Karai and Leo up to the machine. Then they traveled into Leo’s brain. They had a cushy landing on the couch of the farmhouse. “Well, that was softer than landing in Mikey’s mind.” Donnie said. “Where are we ?” Karai asked as Donnie helped her up. “Ok, To help him you have to go to his,” April started to say. “Oh no. I know where we have to go. And I did not like Mikey's” Donnie said. “Where ?” Karai asked. “Follow me. April keep him calm if he starts talking.” Donnie said. “You got it D” April said. They walked for about a minute and they got to where they were going. “Leo's subconscious” Donnie said walking into a room with a checkered black and white floor and no walls. “What's a subconscious do ?” Karai asked. “It is of or concerning the part of the mind of which one is not fully aware but which influences one's actions and feelings.” Donnie said. “Oh. Well why are we here ?” Karai asked. “Because, we have to find his personality little characters and they'll give us a clue on how to destroy the neutrinos.” Donnie said. “Sure, Ok” Then a figure that looked like Leo came up to them. “Leo ?” Karai asked confusingly. “One part of his personality. I wonder which one it is” Donnie said. “Hey Donnie.” The Leo said. Then another Leo skateboarded by, very fast. “Woah. Hey I told you to be careful !!” Then he crashed. “I am not telling you again, hand it over !!” The Leo said. “Ok. That's the responsible Leo.” Donnie said. “And that's the fun Leo” Karai said. Then another Leo came charging at Donnie with his katakanas. “Training Leo” Donnie said fighting with him. Then another Leo came up to Karai. “I love you...I am who I am because of you. You are every reason, every hope every dream I've ever had, and no matter what happens to us in the future, every day we are together is the greatest day of my life. I will always be yours. And...you will always be mine.” He said. “Romantic Leo” Karai said with a sigh. “Which is the one true Leo ?” Donnie asked putting his staff away. “I don't think any of these Leo's are OUR Leo” April said. “Where is our Leo then ?” Donnie asked. Then one more Leo came up behind them. Donnie accidentally bumped into him. “Oh sorry, um, Leo” “Oh, I thought sorry wasn't in your vocabulary Donnie. Big brain but not much thought goes into what you say.” Leo said. “Ok ?” Donnie said as they walked away from him. Then another two Leo's came out. “How many are there ? But as long as they're handsome.” Karai said. “You know the algebraic expression with massacre and the absolute value of negative two and one half minus the partially summed equation...” one said. Donnie and Karai just looked at each other. Then the other one started talking. “Yo Don what's up with the flo on the ro. Or the questions with the answers ?” Leo said to a rap beat. “Uh oh. You know what this means right ? A rap song” Donnie said. “I like rap” Karai said. “Not this. But, it is our clue” Donnie said. “Is this what I missed last time ?” April asked. “Yes. And be happy you did” Donnie said. Then rap Leo went over to a boom box and turned it on. “No. We don't rap” the responsible Leo said. “Fine. You have to go in Leo's sub-subconscious to find his one true Leo.” Math Leo said. “Thank you” Donnie said. Then they went off on their merry merry way. They walked for a minute or two when they found a door. “Is that….” Karai asked. “Yep. Let's go” Donnie said. When they got in it was a dark room with one small light that didn’t really do what a light should. Karai griped Donnie's arm. “Scared are we ?” Donnie asked. “Ok. I'm scared of the dark.” Karai said. “It's ok. Leo is too. And Mikey. Just don't tell him I told you.” Donnie said as they were walking down the long hallway. When they reached the end, there was another door. “In we go” Donnie said. When they walked in it was Leo's memories. “Woah.” Donnie said. “Leo's memories. Amazing.” Donnie said. “Childhood, tween, teenager..”Karai read the different signs. “Come on, focus, we have to find the one true Leo” Donnie said. They walked for a little while and found another door. “Another door !!!!!” Karai said peeved off. “This has to be the last. Right ?” Donnie said. When they went in, it looked just like his room when he was eight. “This isn't his room. Is it ?” Karai asked. “Yeah. From when he was like eight” Donnie said. “Where's Leo then ?” Karai asked. Then from another door you could hear banging, then six year old Leo came running out. “Leo ?” Donnie said confused. Then he crouched down to Leo's height. “D.D. help. These mean wobot jerk fingies are aftew me !!” Leo said running into Donnie's arms. “It's ok Leo. We got you. We can protect you” Donnie said picking him up and standing ready to fight the neutrinos. “He's so cute. Even when he’s six” Karai said. “Hey ! I'm six and a hawf fank you vewy much!” Leo said crossing his arms. “I didn't know Leo had a speech issue.” Karai said to Donnie. “Yeah he had it till he was thirteen. Now let's go. April do you see the neutrinos ?” Donnie asked her. “Yeah. They're in his subconscious. Hurry. Casey's here and Falco’s back. And his wounds and cuts need to be cleaned.” April said. “Ok. We'll be out as soon as we can” Donnie said. Then Donnie picked Leo up and ran down the hallway. “It's dark in here” Leo whispered to Donnie. “It's ok. Nothing's gonna happen.” Donnie said. Then Leo hugged him tighter and Karai on his other side. When they got to his subconscious, the Leo's were gone and the neutrinos were destroying the place. “What are they doing ?” Karai asked. “The job of a neutrino is to destroy the body mentally then physically.” Donnie said. “We have to stop them” Karai said. Then a neutrinos zapped Donnie. “Donnie !!” Leo said, then Karai stood in front of Donnie and Leo. “I got this” Karai said. Then Karai took five second to destroy the neutrinos and they were done. “Donatello ? Are you ok ?” Karai asked walking over to him and Leo. “Yeah. You guys ok ?” Donnie said. “Yeah.” Karai and Leo said. “Ok April, take us out of here” Donnie said. Then they were back in the real world. “You're ok !!” April said kissing Leo's cheek. “Hey” Karai said. April just smiled. “How ya doing Leo ?” April asked. “I'm ok. Just bleeding pretty, much everywhere.” Leo said wiping the blood from his leg. “Where's Casey ?” Leo asked. “With Falco, we have to help him” April said. “You need to get him and Leo cleaned up.” Donnie said. “I'm helping Casey. Donnie help me up” Leo said. “No. You need to go home Leo” Donnie said. “Fine. I'll do it myself” Leo said levitating himself in the air. He fell once and it hurt but he got right back up. Then Leo went into the other room and Casey was all bruised up and Leo took Falco and threw him out of the building and went over to Casey. “You ok Case ?” Leo asked helping him up, still levitating. “I'm good thanks dude.” Casey said standing up. “Let's go home guys” Leo said. “I don't think I can walk another step !” Casey said. “Who said anything about walking.?” Leo said. Then April lifted Casey and Karai lifted Donnie. When they got home, Raph was resting on the couch with Mikey. “Raph !!” Leo said lifting himself over to him. “Leo” Raph and Mikey said. Raph had two red marks on his hands. “What happened ?” Leo asked going over and examining his hands. “Magnetic force kinda takes the life out of ya” Raph said with a smile. “You're…?” Leo said. “Yep, I’m a freak.” Raph said then lifted himself off the ground to Leo's height. “Wow.” Leo said. “How does it feel?” Leo asked. “Cool. I never knew it was this fun.” Raph said. “You think that was fun, watch this.” Leo said. Then he picked Mikey up and gave him a shell wedgie. Then Karai went up to them and made them stop. April went over to Mikey. “You ok Mikey ?” She asked putting him gently on the floor. “Yeah” Mikey said. “To bed with all of you !! It is late!!” MS said. “Yes sensei.” they all said. And everyone went to their rooms. April went to the living room for a minute and Karai went to Leo's room for a while. “Hey Case, got a minute ?” April asked as her and Casey were walking in the living room. “Sure. What's up red ?” Casey asked stopping. “I just wanted to say thanks” April said. “For what ?” Casey asked. “For saving me from Don’s goons and Falco, just so I could help Leo.” She said then kissed him, on the lips. “I...I...I…” Casey said then April walked home. Then Karai came out. “Nice move Case-man.” Karai said. “What do you mean ?” He asked. “Not saying anything or kissing her back. Rookie mistake.” She said walking to her room. “Fine. I'm going home” Casey said walking home. Then Leo went to Raph's room. “How are your hands feeling?” He asked sitting with Raph on his bed. “Hurt. But I'll be fine. How are you doing?.” Raph asked him. “Fine...Well if you need anything I'll be in my room. Night” Leo said. “Wait. Why did Falco say you were good at math ?” Raph asked. “He did ? I don't know what he's talking about. Night” Leo said trying to avoid the conversation. “Leo, you're awesome at math ? Why didn't you tell us ? Donnie could have probably used your big brain.” Raph said. “I don't know. I guess, I thought you guys would make fun of me for being good at math. I mean come on math. That's not me” Leo said. “Leo. We would never ever ever make fun of you.” Raph said. “Ok. Well thanks. I'll see ya tomorrow.” Leo said. Then he went to his room and went to bed.
