Lil beach scene before the demigods go to Goode ♥
ANNABETH POV
Percy and I were at the beach with the rest of the seven. It was our last day at CHB before we go to Goode. I was really nervous in case I got bullied. I usually did because of how smart and 'nerdy' I was. But that was ages ago, hopefully things would've changed.
Suddenly I felt a hand grab my ankle and pull me under water. I took one huge breath of air and dived under.
PERCY POV
I was having a little water fight with Wise Girl in the sea, when she stopped and seemed lost in thought.
An idea popped into my head. I quickly dived under water and grabbed her ankle, she kicked and squirmed, but I had a firm grip.
I created an air bubble and let her go. She seemed really panicked, but when she realized it was me, her expression changed to something else. Anger.
"PERSEUS JACKSON WHY IN HADES DID YOU DO THAT?" She shouted. Man, she was really pissed.
" Um, sorry?" I answered.
"I could've drowned!" She said, still angry.
"But I'd never let that happen." I said, pulling her in for a kiss.
"Seaweed brain" she muttered.
"I love you too." I said.
