Simmy's POV.
"Uh." I stutter.
He looked down at me. "God I'm so sorry! Here take my hand!"
I nod nervously and grab his hand. After he pulled me up I look down at the coffee he spilled all over me.
"I should have been paying attention! I'm sorry I spilled my coffee on you." He says nervously.
"Ouch this burns so much." I yelp.
"Can I do anything?!" He asks.
I looked up and took a big breath. "It's fine."
I start to walk away but feel a sharp pain in my ankle and collapse on the ground.
I hear footsteps running towards me. "Lemme help you, it's the least I can do."
I nod as he pulled me up. As he put his arm around me I flinch. "Relax relax."
"I'm Matthew, but you can call me Matt." He says as he helps me walk towards a bench.
I look at him. "I know who you are. I'm kinda a huge fan."
His eyebrows furrowed. "You don't seem like it."
I giggled settling down on the bench. "Trust me. As soon as you leave I'll freak out."
He laughed looking at me as he sat down. "You're funny."
I smirked. "And you're blind" I say giggling.
He let out a fake scoff. "Aye! I said sorry AND helped you!"
I giggled. "I'm kidding man. I'm kidding."
He eyed me up and down. "Were you out here for a jog?"
I rolled my eyes. "No. I just like to get dressed like it and just walk around so blind people like you can crash into me and spill hot coffee on me."
He laughed looking down.
"I never told you my name. I'm Simmy."
He held his hand out. "It's nice to meet you."
I look at his hand and raised my eyebrows. "You promise you won't spill anything else on me?"
He laughed weakly.
I smiled and shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you too."
I grunted as I moved a little. "God you're really strong to hurt me like this."
He looked up at me. "Do you need help getting home?"
I nodded slightly.
He looked around a bit till he finally spoke. "How about I buy us breakfast to make up for it."
I smirked. "Free food? I'm in!"
He laughed. "I'm surprised you didn't deny it like most girls do."
I held my hand out so he could help me up, he took it. "Do I look and sound like most girls?
He shook his head quickly. "Not at all."
I smirked. "Exactly. Besides, it's free food. How could I pass that up?"
He laughed. "I agree. I agree."
We both talked and exchanged a few things about each other while we walked to Denny's. I was totally holding back the fangirl feelings right now. We finally were here. As we approached Denny's he opened the door for me. I smiled in reponse.
"Thank you!" God he was a gentlemen, so attractive.
As he helped me to my seat people stared. Two girls came running up to us and pushed me to the side. Luckily I fell onto the seat.
"Guys we can take pictures after, I'm at breakfast with someone." He said looking at them.
"Why are you here with that slut?" One fan asked.
Matt's face tensed up. "I thought you guys were fans." He pushed his way through them and helped me up.
He looked at me, "God I am truly so sorry."
I shook my head biting my lower lip. "It's okay. They're fans, I get it."
He shook his head as he sat me down on a seat. "They are not fans at all. Trust me."
"It must be scary." I say as he sat down across from me.
"What must be scary?" He asked as he picked up a menu.
"Getting all those fans just running up to you."
He smirked. "Yeah it gets scary. Sometimes they come up in hundreds. But they're fans. So I can't hate them."
I smiled, he was really humble and nice. "That's true."
He put his menu down and looked at me. "So tell me more about yourself."
"What more do you want to know?' I say looking back at him.
He shurgged. "Anything."
I bit my lower lip nervously. "I-I, uh well."
"Hey hey relax." He says grabbing my hand on the table. "What's wrong?
I looked down. "People tend to judge me if I tell them about my past." I say, pulling my hand out of his and into my lap.
"I won't judge you Simmy." He said in a reassuring voice.
I twidled my thumbs still looking down. "Well. I'm from the bay area but I moved to this small city in the central valley. I'm not really like most girls. My parents, uh, they aren't really parents. My dad is an alcohlic and my mom gets all her anger towards me."
He looked at me as I finished. "Wow I'm really sorry."
I finally looked up. "No. It's okay."
"So where are your parents?' He asked.
"Oh they're back home, me and my best friend live here by ourselves." I answered.
He nodded. "I can understand why you would want to move."
I nodded and laughed softly. "Yeah!"
He laughed and took a breath. "Pancakes?"
I nod smiling. "Pancakes."
