Meeting R5 (not a fanfic)

So I'm sorry that this might be a little cliche! But this is about me meeting R5 for the first time.

So as you all know or maybe didn't even know but a couple days before the R5 concert they retweeted a radio station in Salt Lake City UT. Which basically said that they have your chance of meeting the band R5.

When I saw that tweet I freaked out and asked my mom if she could take me. The thing we were also taking my friend so my mom said that if only her parents say it's okay to get out of school early on that day.

We had to make posters for meeting R5 and the best/most creative posters will

be picked by the band and we will be able to meet them.

When we left to go to the Mix 107.9 (radio station) we stopped at the store to get some drinks because we would want some Gatorade and water.

We got to the radio station half an hour before R5 was supposed to be there. There was probably only about 5 people there.

The time did change because they were running late so they would be there by 3:30 instead of 3:00. By the time they got there, there were now about 30 to 40 people there!

When I saw the van pulling up I was freaking out and I did start crying and screaming at the top of my lungs!! I was so close to them! My mom was trying to push me up and run up to them to give them a hug because no one was stopping us from doing so but I didn't want to really be a like a creep or anything so I didn't.

When I saw them through the window when they were having the interview I was just like freaking out hoping they would pick us! When it was time for them to pick who would come up everyone was jumping up and down and screaming wanting R5 to pick them.

So they were just looking through the windows looking at the posters and reading them. And that's when Ross pointed right at my Mariah's (my friend) and my posters! That's when I really started to freak out again because Ross pointed at our posters!! That's when I had a good feeling I would be able to meet them.

After Ross pointed at our posters I turned to Mariah and said or should I say kinda yelled because I was super excited "OH MY GOSH!! DID YOU SEE THAT?! ROSS POINTED TO OUR POSTERS!!!" She didn't really notice that Ross pointed to our posters so she was like surprised and my mom was like "Yeah he did!"

So it took another about 5 minutes until we found out who they picked. I had a feeling that they probably picked everyone because they love the R5Family so much and they want to be able to meet all of their fans because how much we love and support them!

I was right! They picked all of us to come up and meet them! When I found I did start crying and having a hard time to breath because I was going to be meeting R5! I honestly thought this day would come unless I got the VIP tickets to one of their concerts but that was obviously not true!

So when I was in line to meet them I was freaking out! But I was able to calm down. Well I was all nice and calmed down for a while in the line. But when I was the next to meet them I just started crying all over again! I was hoping I wouldn't cry once I got up to them but all the tears just came rolling down my cheeks!!

Riker looked back when it was our turn and he was so sweet and kind by saying and I quote "Awwww don't cry! Come here!!" And he gave me the biggest tightest hug ever!! It was the best hug I have ever gotten in my whole entire life!!

Next up was Rydel! And she reached out to me to give me a hug as well! I was still crying and I was trying to calm down so I was still trying to catch my breath when I told her "Rydel, thanks so much for liking my Instagram photo!" She replied with "Awwww no problem! You're welcome!" And she giggled a little too.

Next was Ross, all I said to him was "hi" and the same with Ellington (Ratliff) and I gave them both hugs!

When it became Rocky's turn he said "come here!!" And reached out for me and gave me a hug. I was shocked at first so I didn't really know what to do, but then I was like "ROCKY!" Still crying a little and hugged him back!

My mom was holding our posters at the time and so I said "mom give me the poster!! I need to show Rydel my poster!!" So she gave me the poster and I showed Rydel my poster which said "I love the way R5 loves me" and it had a picture of the birthday cake of mine that she liked and the where it said "rydelr5 liked your photo 4 minutes ago" Rydel was reading the poster then saw the photo and said "That was your cake?! I remember liking that!!" I was like "yeah it was my cake!"

I was really shocked that she remembered liking my photo on Instagram because I posted the photo 2 months ago! So I thought that was pretty cool!

When I was still trying to get the poster from my mom she was talking to Ross and Rocky told us "I like your hats!!" And I just kinda laughed and said thanks because it was the R5 hat from the website! we were the only people who went to the radio station with the R5 hats from r5rocks.com

So we got our pictures done and we left, and as we were leaving Ross said "See you at the amphitheater tonight!"

When we made it out side 107.9 that's when we realized we didn't give them the "Family" coke! so we waited for them.

We probably waited for them outside for about 5-10 minutes. When they came out we were kinda hiding and that's when I heard Rydel's voice and I'm like "Hey that's Rydel's voice!" So we jumped out and said "WAIT!!" That's when they all jumped and turned around and may I add that Rocky's face was so priceless!

That's when we said "We forgot to give you these!"

I said "It's coke with the word "family" on it because we are R5 family!" we only had two of them so I gave mine to Riker and Mariah gave hers to Ross. Riker said "Thank you" and we explained to them that we only had 2 and that's because we could only find 2 that had the word "family" on it.

That's when Ross said "Here do you want this one back kinda like a memento because I touched it?"

Mariah replied with "no you keep it!"

I replied with "No you can have it! I don't drink carbonation anymore."

That's when Ross held up his hand for me to give him an high five which I did and said "good for you!"

That's when they had to leave to go in the van and as they were leaving Mariah said "Ross! Your gorgeous!!" He then replied with a little laugh and said "Thank you"

Mariah also said "I love Austin & Ally!" And he said "Thank you so much!"

That's when I said "I can't wait until the new season!" And he just kinda smiled!

We went back to our car and when we got to our car they were pulling out to leave so what to Mariah and I do? We wave good-bye and I also do the hand heart as well. They all waved back at us! And smiled you could really see Riker and Rocky though because they were the ones by the window!!
