"Where am I?" I think to myself. I'm sitting on a chair in the middle of a room with dark mahogany walls. I feel some sort of warm liquid on my hands so I look down, only to see a bloody hatchet in my hands.

I hesitantly get up out of my chair to look around the room. There is nothing except a little boys mutilated body and a mirror. I look into the mirror and see that I have blood splatters all over me and a grin plastered across my face.

I look down at the body on the floor and then to the hatchet that's still in my hands and think to myself, "Did I really do this?" As I look back into the mirror I notice a boy, slightly taller than me, standing behind me. I turn around and see no one there. I turn back around and see him standing straight in front of me, his face centimeters from mine. He has orange goggles and a mouth guard on. "Yes you did, Jenna," I faintly hear him whisper right before I wake up.

I look at my clock and see that it's already seven o'clock in the morning. My school starts at eight, so I have an hour to get ready. Thinking nothing of the dream or should I say nightmare, I slowly get out of bed and go take a ten minuet shower. After I dry my hair, I get dressed in a white knitted sweater, a white beanie, black skinny jeans, and black boots since it's winter.

Before I leave, I grab an apple to eat on the way to school. Me, Alex, and Landon all walk to school together. Once we're ready, we say goodbye to our parents and head off to school..or as I like to call it, prison. On the walk to prison, I thought I saw something run past us into the woods by our house and school. Every now and then I would look back to see if there really was something. "Probably a rabbit or something," I thought to myself.

"You okay, Jenn?" Landon asks, breaking me from my thoughts.

"What? Oh, yeah I'm fine," I smile at him.

"You don't seem fine," Alex says, crossing her arms. There she goes being annoying again.

"I said I'm fine," I snapped. She didn't reply, and the rest of the walk was quiet.

Once we get to school, I throw my apple core in a trash can, say bye to Landon and Alex, then head to class. I have science first. I hate science.

After the last bell rings, I go to my locker then meet up with Alex and Landon and we all walk home. As we're walking, it starts to snow slightly.

"You have snow in your hair," I say, looking up at Landon and seeing the small white snowflakes in his dark brown hair.

"No shit Sherlock, so do you," he says, pointing to my hair.

"But yours is easier to see, Alex and I both have blonde hair so it's harder to see, duh."

"That doesn't mean its not there," he says, smiling. I stick my tongue out at him and he does it back.

Once we get home, I go to close the door but before I do, I'm almost positive that I saw something run into the woods. Don't be stupid, its just some animal, my subconscious tells me. I dismiss the thought and head into my room. I take my clothes off and change into sweatpants, a big sweatshirt, and a pair of white fuzzy socks. As I'm walking to my bed, I see two small dots of red on my windowsill.

That can't be blood, can it?
