y/n's perspective

I woke up to the sound of a phone ringing, but I was not aware of who's it was because I could recall mine being dead from the other day and I never got the chance to plug it in. The phone continued to ring which began to irritate me more, so I sat up in my bed and looked to where the sound was coming from. It surprisingly was in fact my phone, and it was on the charger which sat on my nightstand. It was a timer, but I had never set one, nor do I recall charging my phone last night. Actually, now that I think about it, I don't even remember what happened last night. All I can remember is seeing some men in masks and.. I take a look around at the room and it soon starts to set in that I'm not actually in my own house. "Right.." I mumbled as I rubbed the back of my neck slowly.
I then take a glance back at my phone and notice a small picture frame with a few masked men in it, wearing all blacks and grays next to it. I could feel a sudden chill run down my back as I stared at the picture, then as I went to pick it up to get a closer look at it, I could feel the eyes of someone on me. I quickly stopped what I was doing and turned my attention to the door where the small figure of a boy stood in doorway. He had a mask on, so I couldn't see his expression which made me get an eerie feeling. Then he started to walk towards me and once he reached the edge of the bed, he waved at me and said hello.
I soon realized it was the little boy from yesterday, but he wasn't as scared looking as he was the day before. "Hello..?" I kind of questionably answered, not really sure what he wanted but then he moved away from the edge of the bed and came to the side of it so we were face to face. He seemed shy and not really sure what to say, so I managed to ask him what his name was. "O-Oh! My name? Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Jack, it's nice to finally talk to one another." He said shakily, almost seeming to get nervous while he looked down at the ground. "Oh, it's alright.. Jack.. I guess it's nice to talk to you as well. I'm y/n." I said as I reassured him that it was fine, and even though his face wasn't that visible, his expression seemed to light up. "I know! Er, well.. I mean, I knew because Martin told us so.." I chuckled nervously and I couldn't help but slightly smile at his actions.

Lenz perspective

I walked down the hallway, minding my own business as I often did to avoid any interactions, but when I saw the door to Martin's room wide open I couldn't help but glance in as I walked by. Jack was standing by the side of his bed while a woman sat on it and they made decent conversation on getting to know each other. I was interested in knowing who she was myself, so I stopped myself from going any further down the hallway and entered the room. Jack turns to me and his eyes widen, and I see him become frozen as the girl stares at me in confusion. She notices Jacks uncomfortableness with my presence and she seems to be ready to protect him, but I'm not here to cause trouble.
"Good evening miss, I'm Lenz. I've heard much about you, it's nice to meet you." I say as I start to make my way over to them both and Jack backs up slightly away from me. "I see you've met Jack already." I say slightly quieter as she just calmly smiles and nods her head. "Hello, and yes I have. He's keeping me great company." She turns to face him as he seems to smile. I knew Martin wouldn't like their interactions with each other if he knew, as Jack has always wanted a mother figure and I knew that's exactly what he saw y/n as. However I would not ruin their bonding time, as I also was looking forward to possibly having another member in our cult. I looked at them both before nodding my head and exiting the room. "I'll tell you when breakfast has been served." Then with that I close the door and continue on my way.

Emments perspective

I began preparing breakfast when I hear the sound of footsteps coming downstairs, and in his suit and mask appears Martin at the end of the steps. "Ah, Emment," He says my name before examining what I was doing, "you are serving breakfast this morning?" He adjusts his tie and walks towards me, getting closer to see what I was making. I hadn't started making anything yet, but I was glad he came down at this exact time because I needed ideas on what to do exactly.
"Ah yes, I am." I reply to his question and set aside my ingredients. "Would you happen to know what our guest would like for breakfast?" My question seems to catch him off guard as he looks up at me and stares. I wasn't sure if he liked my question or not, but then he shakes his head. "Er.. no. I suppose I don't, I will go ask her if necessary." I nod my head and I hear him sigh as he walks back towards the stairs and disappears from my sight. He seems to be on edge ever since she's been here, I don't seem to see the issue though. He must just be nervous. I will not ask.
