"Srishti...Srishti....wake up ...come on, it's 7:20 am, don't you have to go to the hospital?"

"Srishti"

"Srishti????"

"Ok as you wish, don't get angry on me if you get late....I am going to prepare tea."

"SRISHTI....oh my god.. you are not up yet?? Don't know what will you do without me"

"Mmhhmm....mumma...5 more minutes..."

"Fine sleep how much you want, but what about the patient who is coming today?"

"PATIENT??? Oh shit! I forgot."

"What's the time?"

"7:40 am."

"7:40??? Why didn't you wake me up??"

"Huh?? I am trying that for the past half an hour, but you not even stirred. I have kept the tea, drink it, and get ready fast."

"Yeah. Just give me 15 minutes."

Oh god this girl. What am I gonna do with her?

This is Srishti, my sweet daughter....her dream was to become a doctor and she achieved it with her hard work and determination.
Now she works as a junior resident in one of the best hospitals of Delhi.

She is so naive, and innocent, that sometime I fear, that what would she do without me and her papa.

She hasn't lived without us ever in 25 years of her life, and now she is moving to London to persue her post graduation. She worked really hard for this.

I just pray to god that everything turns out good for her.

You know what, I just realised that I had posted the first chapter of this book exactly 5 years ago on 2nd sep 2019. Isn't that awesome 🥹🥹.

I was 24 and now I'm 29 (huhh good old days 🥲)
