One of the main groups that despised your parents was one of the mafia groups in the area. More specifically, Stray Kids. Honestly though, they weren't only after your parents. They were after anyone and everyone who brought harm to other people. Which seemed almost backwards since that's what they did themselves, but supposedly they had their reasons. It wasn't like this was specifically who they went after, it's just what was deduced by the police based on who they had killed in the past.
They weren't at all open to the public, so this was basically all that was known about them. No one knew how many members there were. No one knew who the members were. No one knew who the leader was. No one knew anything else about the mafia group other than their name and who they went after.
You knew your parents were probably on their list of people to go after due to who your parents were, but you didn't know if you'd be included. You knew you weren't like your parents, but did they know that? Would they even care? Nonetheless, you were always scared of them. As most people were, you were scared of what you knew nothing about.
