Chapter Twenty Four

School was shit all week, the same usual ass shit.

It's Saturday and Adam invited me to his friends party, I don't really feel like going but if I can hang with Adam then it's worth it.

Hopefully Damon, Derek and Devon don't show up, oh yeah and Jaxon, fingers crossed.

After the incident with Jaxon at the boxing gym on Monday I've just decided to avoid him at any cost which has been working quite well actually. I thought it would be a lot harder to keep away from him since he's living in the same house for a while.

I don't know when he'll leave but he's just been sleeping on the couch in the mean time.

Sitting on my bed I slip on my heels and grab my purse as I head out my room and quickly out the house before any of the boys see me.

Adam just texted saying he outside about two minutes away from my house.

I hop in his car " Hi, baby," I say happy to see him.

"Hey baby, you look beautiful," he says charmingly.

I lean in and kiss his soft plump lips as he kisses back.

We drive off to our destination listening to music and enjoying each other's company.

Arriving at the party we step out the car and head in, everyone seems already drunk.

Adam and I greet some people we recognise and walk into the kitchen to grab a drink.

He soon wanders off to meet his friends as I stand alone in the kitchen just observing others.

A unknown guy stands next to me with a beer in his hand, "Hey, Gabriel," he says holding his hand out for me to shake.

"Scarlett," I reply while shaking his hand.

He smiles and takes a sip of his beer "you here alone?" He asks. Please don't say he's one of those douche bags that thinks I've came here alone just to get fucked.

"No, I'm here with my boyfriend," I say looking the other way.

He smirks at my response "where's he at?" He asks sipping his beer again.

"Talking with his friends."

"And not with you," he says raising his eyebrows for more emphasis.

I know what he's trying to do, he's trying to make me think bad of Adam so that he thinks I'll crack on with him instead.

Asshole!

I turn away from him hoping he understands that I'm done talking to him.

Next thing I know there's light taps on my shoulder, I slowly turn around to see his face so close to mine with a big grin on his face.

His smile instantly makes me smile and giggle, why am I giggling?

"What is it?" I ask.

"Nothing," He says still smiling.

I shake my head chuckling.

"So, who did you come with?" I ask.

"No one," he says.

"Okay."

A hand snakes around my waist pulling me into someone's body, I look up to see Adam.

"Hi," I say smiling.

"Hey," He says as he leans down and kisses my forehead.

He looks at Gabriel "what's up Gabe," he says and does that guy shake thing.

"Nothing much you?" He says and sips his beer while looking at me as I quickly look elsewhere.

This feels so awkward.

"I see you've met my girl, Scarlett," Adam says.

"I sure have, you know she's not the usual type you tend to go for," he says as he combs his fingers through his brown, chocolate, silky soft hair.

"What do you mean?" Adam asks and takes a long gulp of his drink.

"Don't you usually go for the popular girls, oh you know the bitchy ones with the attitudes and big, fake tits and ass," he says as if he's trying to get his friend into some dirt.

"Well, yeah that was before I met Scarlett," Adam responds.

"Okaaay," Gabriel says as if not believing anything Adams saying.

"We'll see you later," Adam says and pushes me forward to walk away with him.

Just as I'm about to pass Gabriel he winks at me, and I'm not going to lie that was quite hot.

All of a sudden I have the urge to pee very badly.

"Adam going to go pee!" I shout over the loud music.

"Okay! Meet me back here!" He shouts.

And with that I push through the large crowd to go on a quest to find the bathroom in this mansion of a house.
