A Year with Me

        Most people have that day were they wish that there parents just dissaperd. Well I was not most people. My name is Jen Fall and ever since I was born I have wished I had parents. It was fall of 1996 i was born in New Chancy Childrens Hospitle. My Mother left me there and ever scince then I have lived in and out of foster homes but mabey this would be my year. 

       It is the first of August summer is almost over and school would start soon. I am living in Chancy, New York at Second Chance Home for Girls. Now living at an Orphanage you would think going to school and getting away from everyone else would be amazing well it wasn't. At SCH as I call it there were 10 of us. Ally the quite shy one she was 5 when her parents died last year and she came to live at SCH, Marry who was 4 her mom died in child birth and she didn't have a dad she was loud but was very calm we she was asked, Connie was 14 and her mom droped her off in June to stay the summer, Shara and Emma were twins they were only 2 months old there mom and dad had died in a car crash, Ashley was 10 she had been there a year her mom died of cancer and her dad was so sad he drove himself off a cliff, and then you had Mrs.Brooks triplets Balley,Bonnie,Berine they were 3 and they lived at the SCH with us. Then there was me while every one else had only been ther a year or so or were really young I had been there for 16 years so while everyone else had hope of getting out I had none.  

        It is August 13 the first day back at school now going to school may be bad for some people but for me it is a living hell. But no matter what I had to go.  

        "Jen wake up its the first day of school," yells Mrs.Brooke.                                         

        "Coming," I yell in replie. It was my first day at my new highschool Chancy Falls High I was going to be a sphomer. I was not excited.I went to my closet and but on a pair of black skinny jeans a balck tanktop, a pair of black lace up my commbat boots. I relized I was running late and raced out of my room down towards the kitchen.

        "Bye Mrs.Brooke see ya after school," I yelled as I raced out the door. 

        I took of racing torwads the bus stop at the end of the street my ipod in hand and my backpack on my back. The bus came to a screeching halt just as I reached the bus stop. The minute I stepped aboard the bus all convorsation stoped as usal most stared at my red aburn hair then they starred at the jagged scar that ran down my arm, but then supringly they all stoped and started talikng again. Mabey this year would be diffrent. I plopped down in a back row seat and jammed my ear buds into my ears and started to listen to the amazing music of Pink Floyd.

        It felt like seconds later we were coming to a halt in front of my new highschool. I got off the bus and headed to the addmitions office. 

"Hello...um my name is Jen Fall I'm new at the school and I need my scedual," I said.

"Ok. let me just find u on the data base,*tap,tap* ahhh here you are......and here is your scedual," said the office lady.

        I took my scedual and walked out the door. It said my locker was in the B hall and my first class was in the Gym. I headed torwads what I though was the B hall when all of a sudden my books were every were and i was lying on my but in the hallway.  

        "What the fuck is wrong with you," I said looking up at a very tall dark haired guy. 

        "Sorry, I didn't see you coming do you need any help," he said. 

        I finished gathering my books and shoved my scedual right in his face saying "unless you know were the fuck the B hall is then no this place is like a fudging maze!" 

        "Um, acutlly it looks like you locker is wight next to mine so yeah I can show you were it is," he said.
