Taking a deep breath as I combed my wooden brush through my (Hair Length) (Hair Colour) messy hair. "Harry, what's it like at Hogwarts?" I asked.

"It's ... interesting. That's for sure. But it's lovely, magical even- no pun intended." Harry responded, letting out a small laugh afterwards.

"Got many friends there?" I asked, putting my brush down and turning to look at my brother.

"Yes- sort of. I have two, for sure. Ron and Hermione." He replied and ran a hand through his ebony hair. "Hermione is a bit ... uptight. Like you- ouch!" He rubbed his arm where I had just punched him. "I meant that in a good way."

"Sure you did, Harry." I pouted, crossing my arms over my chest.

"As I was saying." He cleared his throat. "Ron. He's a bit of a scaredy-cat, but he's my best friend."

"Will I get to meet them when I arrive at Hogwarts? I really want to meet your friends." I said.

"Yeah' suppose you could, (Your Name)." He chuckled. "Don't expect too much though. Hermione is used to being the only girl in our friend group, and Ron... he never shuts up."

"Sounds like a blast. Can't wait to meet them." I grinned at Harry.

He returned the grin.

It was so odd to have Harry being in a year above me at Hogwarts, but I'll have to manage.

In this story ... Instead of being eleven-years-old in the first year at Hogwarts, all students will be thirteen-years-old when they start instead.

That way it makes it easier for me to write the romance parts to this book.
