"Get uppppp." My brother says throwing a pillow at my head
I sit up with a scowl on my face.
"Ever heard of knocking?"
"Ever heard of I don't care?"
"Get-OUT!" I yell chasing him out of my room
"What is going on?" My aunt comes up adjusting her shirt
"Can you please tell Jackson not to barge into my room and throw pillows at me!" I cross my arms, still scowling
She turns to him, raising her eyebrows
"I told him to wake you up, nicely." She emphasizes Nicely
I push past him and walk into the bathroom. I turn on the water, strip then get into the hot shower.
Today's my first day back at school only this will be my second year as a high schooler.
I let the warm water relax my muscles then do my daily routine.
Once I'm all ready I grab my bag and decide to skip breakfast.
"You want me to drive you?" My aunt asks
"No I'd rather take the bus, but thanks."
"Okay well have a good day and I'll see you later." She says opening the door
As I walk to the bus stop I think about last year.. I was pretty popular last year with my little clique but again it was a huge school and we were the youngest.
Just as I get to my bus stop I see the bus pull around the corner. It stops and I hop on
"TATY!" I hear my name and see my best friend, Kelly get out of her seat running towards me. She welcomes me with a big hug and I return the embrace
"Girls you can carry on your little scene once we get to the school but I'm going to need you to sit down." The bus driver yells as I find an empty seat. Kelly sits next to me and we chatter about what happened over the summer.
We didn't get to see each other because she went to London.
When we reach school everybody on the bus rushes out greeting their friends.
"ALL FRESHMAN'S AND SOPHOMORE'S MEET IN THE CAFETERIA!" The speaker which usually lets us know the morning announcements yells
Kelly swings her arm over my shoulder as we make our way to the cafeteria.
We sit down, waiting for the principle to arrive.
When everybody is quiet she begins
"Welcome to Central HighSch-" She's interrupted by a loud slam
All eyes turn towards the door to find a tall, curly haired boy standing in the doorway
"Harry.. It's nice to see you again." She says
He rolls his eyes and walks to the back of the cafeteria, leaning against the wall
"Welcome to Central High-school, I'm Mrs. Payne your principle here. As I look around I can see some familiar faces from last year but I'd like to welcome our Freshman's."
After she's done with her speech we're given our schedules and we make our way to our first class.
There is one thing that distracted me though...
Who was that boy? I didn't see him last year and Payne said it was nice to see him again
That's the end of Chapter 1.
