CHAPTER 4

(Day after Chapter 2)

I wake up in the hotel bed after I hear my phone ring. I looked over and saw it was Sarah.

Nathan: "Ughh, she can wait"

I hang up and put my head on the pillow, before being interrupted by another phone call.

I decide to pick it up this time, as it had to be important.

Nathan: "Yo, whatchu want?"

Sarah: "Hey! Do you wanna head to the club later tonight?"

Nathan: "You called just for that?"

Sarah: "Hey! Its reaaallly important!"

Nathan: "Bear, you know I don't like party's and clubs and shit"

Sarah: "Pwetty pwease!"

Nathan: "Fine. I'll only be there for a hour though."

Sarah: "Yay! I'll tell everyone!"

Nathan: "What? Everyo-"

Before I could finish my sentence, she hung up.

Nathan: "Rude..."

I get out of bed to get changed into some shorts and a sweatshirt, as I'm about to walk out the door, I get a text.

Bear 🐻: hey liv wants to go sneaker shopping, can u go with her

Nathan: uhh ok? What time

Bear 🐻: 12 so come over when ur ready, room is 212

Nathan: k

I check my phone and see that it's already 11:30am.

I walk out of my room and head to the elevator. Once I'm down at the second floor, I walk over to 212 and I knock on the door.

The door creaks open so I could see Liv's cute face poking out from behind it.

Liv: "Hiii!"

She practically jumps onto me and I could see a smile tugging at her lips.

Nathan: "Hey, you ready to go?"

As I walked Liv down to my car, she talked about her favourite shoes and about the ones she was gonna buy. I listened carefully, because I sorta had feelings for her and because I was kind of a sneakerhead myself.

Once we got to the store, she found what she wanted, a pair of red Air Jordan 11's.

I quickly picked up some red converse all stars and we headed to the checkout.

Nathan: "I'll tell you what."

Liv: "mhm?"

Nathan: "I'll pay for both of these if you promise me that we'll do this again sometime."

Liv: "Oh, you don't need to do that."

Nathan: "Pay for it or hang out again?"

Liv: "Pay for it, I'd love to hang out again."

Nathan: "Too bad."

I snatch the shoes off her and place them on the checkout and quickly pay before she can stop it.

We walk out with the shoes.

Liv: "You didn't need to do that."

Liv pouted.

Nathan: "Poor little baby didn't use her own money for the first time..."

She slapped my arm as we walked out of the mall.
