Highspeed reunion

A/n: so there s no definitive timeline so I'm gonna guess as to how long the timeskip would have been.

*12 months later, Ruby's POV*

All that happened at out time at Beacon made us change. Losing Pyrrha and Penny, the fall of Beacon, and before all that what we did to Y/n... it all still lingers in our minds. But now we know the full story, and we're taking the train towards Atlas in order to deliver the first relic to Ironwood. Uncle Qrow walks into our train car as me and the girls are relaxing and talking.

Ruby: "Oh hey, Uncle Qrow! You wanna play?" I hold up my scroll

Qrow: *chuckles* "Kick your butts? Sure."
Suddenly, the train jolts, causing Qrow to drop his drink. I can hear passengers screaming in fear.

Blake: "What was that?"

Weiss: "Exactly what it sounds like."

Blake: "Just my luck."

Qrow: *looking out the window* "It's not yours... grab your weapons!"

Qrow runs out of the room and we all follow, grabbing our weapons on our way out the door. Qrow climbs to the top of the train and sees a huge group of Manticore Grimm approaching from the back. Those two so called huntsman are fighting off the Grimm on the other end as we climb up beside uncle Qrow.

*no one's POV*

Dee and Dudley are already up top and prepare to fight the Grimm, Dee lunges forward as something from below pulls the train car's roof down where Dee was standing and he screams followed quickly by ripping of flesh then silence.

Dudley: Dee!!

The Sphinx roars again and all of the Manticores fly forward to attack.

Blake: "What's the plan, Ruby?"

Ruby: "Don't let anyone else die!"

???: "a great plan! Magnificent and splendid. A true leaders plan. There's more than enough blood on your hands already now isn't there?"

The voice seems to come from everywhere and no where at the same time. Dudley screams as he's dragged down into one of the cars and the sound of tearing flesh is heard.

Ruby: "what's going on?"

Yang: "I don't know but something's more dangerous than the Grimm around here."

team JNPR and Oscar climb up and begin fighting the Grimm as well. The Grimm all take off and fall back behind the train slightly. Oscar looks around and shouts

Oscar: "TUNNEL!"

The group all looks wide eyed as they begin to scramble back inside the train as it passes through the tunnel entrance.

Ruby: "keep your guard up, remember something's down here too!"

Suddenly, the lights on the train all fade out. Leaving the train cars in complete darkness before the emergency power kicks in, showering the cars in a deep red glow

Qrow: "just great, what else is gonna go wrong?"

???: "what indeed?"
The same dark, raspy voice calls out again. Through the shadows of the red lights, a silhouetted figure jumps through the broken roof as its cape falls behind it. As it stands up they all look panicked. It stands at least 7 feet tall. The creature looms towards them, taking long strides, each place of its foot creates a mechanical clang. behind it walks 4 copper coloured robots: long thin heads, three fingered hands and backpacks built into their backs with long antennas strutting from up, all holding guns of some kind. They form a line behind the caped figure as it steels it's gaze upon them all.
