The Other Girl

Chapter 1

It all started on a Wednesday morning, Cortney walked through the halls of Lillyville Middle School with a smile on her face and her friend Liz right by her side. Liz and her both were in the 7th grade and were fairly new to the school. Cortney was on the cheer squad, captain of most of the clubs and her dad owned the school! She seems the the typical b**** who has a rich dad and on the cheer squad but she was NOTHING like that! Liz was a band geek and was a goody-two-shoes.

As they were walking down the hall, Liz spotted a couple of girls and imediatlly ran to the bathroom. Cortney wondered why she was acting weird. She followed right behind Liz... Cortney checked every stall then she finally found the stall she was in! She rattled at the door but she heard no response.. she peeked through the crack to find Liz with a blade up againts her wrist. Cortney started to yell " you dont have to do this"... still no response from Liz. Then Cortney whispered through the crack saying "god will help you through this, i will help u through this, and ur family will help u too!" 3 mins passed still no response.. *crackle, ching* the stall door opened and Liz ran to her arms! Cortney stood in shock with her arms wrapped around Liz, all she could think about was i almost saw my friend cause suicide... Liz went home early while i stayed at school. school went by slow like i was stuck in another dimension *Tick,tock,tick,tock* i watched the clock in every class with the teachers voice in the background! I thought about the samething.. a million things raced through my mind, (how could she be getting bullied, why would she cut herself etc. ) After school let out i rushed to her house!
