Michaels upbringing was normal. Nothing strange about him. Completely normal. At least that's what everyone thought...

Michael was born on the 12th November 1987. He was a good-behaved boy in school and most of his life. Everyone thought he was normal. He was normal. Just a normal child, that killed.

His first killing was when he was just 8 years old, not to a human ,but his pet hamster he had for 2 years. He just said to his parents that it escaped. They believed him. His fascination with the anatomy of animals and (later on in his life) humans would grow rapidly as he grew older. Michael went to a public college off the outskirts of Manchester, England. This is where he met his love Sarah-Lou and later on in their lives got married and had children.

Michael and Sarah-Lou went on to have 6 children in December 2005 at the age of 18. The first child's name was Peggy-Jo born on 30th January 2006 . The next to be born was the first set of twins Karolina and Eva on 17th September 2006.The next to be born was the second set of twins Jack and Jim on 5th July 2007. The last of the 6 children was Freddy born on 5th April. this was a the perfect family Sarah-Lou and Michael had always dreamed of having. Just perfect.

This perfect family started to show some flaws in and outside of their home. Rumours started to spread that Sarah-Lou and Michael didn't treat their children in the right manner that any other parent should. The rumours started to say they malnourished also verbally and physically abuse the. Michael was getting frustrated by the accusations going around so he told the whole family to act like a 'normal' family in public and not to tell any of their friends in school how they treat them. This made the children very confused as they thought family was 'normal'. It was not a normal family.

A few years later most of the Bailey children disappeared. Without a trace. The 999 call was made at 6:00pm on 4th July 2010 with a non-worried parent. This parent was Michael Bailey, he called the police informing them that 'all' of his children had disappeared on the exact same day, what a coincidence right? The police officers came and also forensics were called because they recalled smelling a strange odor throughout the house. The forensics searched the house and nothing was found. The strange thing was Michael's strange behaviour and talking about his children in the past tense, for example; "My eldest daughter her name was amazing in anything she did." This grew suspicion towards Michael, he was questioned on this at the police station, he straight away confessed to everything. This shocked the officers. They thought it wa just another case like the Shannon Matthews case, but it wasn't it was a lot more shocking.

Michael started from the very first day Sarah-Lou gave birth to Peggy-Jo and how he was so proud to become a father and the thrill of it and then he began to talk about the day of the murders. He began by telling the officers how he slit the children's throats and watch them bleed and he recalled the youngest Freddy saying to him in his last, dying breath "Daddy why are you doing this? I thought you loved us." This created guilty conscience inside him and decided to hand himself in.

Michael wasn't normal. He never was. Michael was convicted in May 2012. Sarah-Lou is still missing to this day, we guess she was a victim of Michael.
