Wooseok hated this idea. He didn't want to date the guy, he wanted him to leave him alone. He tried to argue with Hyunggu, but the boy didn't budge. "You two need to get over this." was all he said. He groaned, walking away to his house. He took the longest way he knew, headphones blasting his favorite song again.
Later that week, When he opened the door to his house, he wished he could walk back out. His parents were on the couch, grandparents next to them. Anytime they came to visit, he was forced to act like they were a normal family. "Wooseokie!" his mother motioned him over.
He sighed, dropping his bag by the door. He walked towards them, taking his headphones out of his ears. He sat next to his mother, keeping a few inches between them. "Aren't you going to say hello?" his dad leaned over to look at him.
"Hey." he mumbled. His parents sighed, looking to his grandparents.
"Sorry, he's been moody lately." Wooseok looked away, wondering how he could get out of this situation.
"So, Wooseok, they're going to be staying for a couple of weeks." he looked up at them with furrowed brows.
"Weeks?" they nodded.
"We thought it would be a good idea to come and visit our favorite grandchild." Wooseok looked up at them.
"I'm your only grandchild." they smiled, nodding their heads. He sighed, standing up. "I have homework to do." his father caught his wrist.
"Sit down and talk to us." he glanced between them all.
"No thanks. I already know what we are going to talk about." they sighed, letting him go. He made his way up the stairs, closing and locking his door. He sat on the edge of his bed, scratching the back of his head. He looked out his window, seeing the stars in the sky.
He grabbed his headphones, throwing on a sweatshirt. He climbed out his window, making sure not to let his parents see. He glanced into the living room, to see them laughing on the couch. He put his hood up, blasting his music. He walked around the neighborhood, making his way to a small area where he could see the stars right.
He laid back, using his arms as a pillow. While looking up, a shadow caught the corner of his eye. He turned, seeing two people walking. There was a boy who was oddly familiar, a smaller person on his shoulders. They were walking around, the light from the moon showing them slightly. He could tell it was a little girl on his shoulder. Her long hair was blowing in the wind, hands around the boys neck.
He narrowed his eyes, trying to see better. They were walking towards him, their voice becoming less and less muffled. Once they were close, he rolled his eyes. It was Yuto. he laid back down, hoping the other wouldn't notice him. But it seemed today wasn't his lucky day.
"Who's that?" he could hear the little girl's voice. It took a moment, before Yuto's deep voice could be heard.
"I don't know. Why don't we walk over here." he hoped he did.
"But i wanna see who it is." he could hear the boy sigh.
"We don't want to mess with him. What if it's someone bad?" he snorted, trying not to laugh. But the girl laughed for him.
"He doesn't look bad. Come on, please?" he didn't know why his mind was trying to figure out who she was. It wasn't like he would care anyways. It was quiet for a while, before he could hear Yuto sigh.
"Yup, i think we need to go." he tried not to open his eyes. He could hear them whispering, and then someone was standing over him. He opened one eye, seeing a little girl leaning over him. She looked just like Yuto, dark hair curtaining her face.
"Hello." she waved at him. Wooseok smiled softly, sitting up. He glanced to Yuto, to see him with his arms crossed. "Why are you laying in the middle of the grass?" he chuckled.
"To see the sky." she smiled, looking at Yuto.
"Told you he wasn't bad." He snorted, looking away from him to the girl. "Do you know him?" she was looking to Yuto. he sighed, nodding.
"We go to the same school." she smiled wider, looking at Wooseok.
"So you know my brother?" her head tilted to the side. Yuto shook his head, walking to them.
"Akari, lets leave him alone." he picked her up, putting her back on his shoulders.
"Yes, i know him." she smacked the back of his head. Yuto scoffed, looking up at her.
"Why are you so mean? He looks nice." Wooseok smiled at him, pointing to the girl.
"Yeah, why are you so mean?" he asked sarcastically. The boy rolled his eyes, turning away from them.
"Let's go. Dad's probably waiting for us." they walked away, the little girl waving at him.
"Bye! I hope we can see you again." Wooseok laughed, shaking his head. He found her adorable. When they were gone, he laid back. He smiled up at the stars, wondering what it would be like to have a little sister. He also wondered how Yuto could act the way he did at school, but then become a different person around his sister. He sighed, putting the thoughts away. He didn't feel like thinking about him outside of school.
