Part 5

Hey lovely people, I don't really have a lot to say, so let's not waste anymore time with me and jump straight into the part shall we?

(y/n)'s pov

We both have our last waffle on our plates at the same time. I look at Neo, then her waffle. She did the same. We kind of both looked at each other for a moment. I was full, yet I didn't want to loose the waffle contest. I dug right into the last waffle I had. Mistake. She took her's and shoved it all in her mouth. "Woah" I managed to say. The small crowd that was gathered, cheered and went wild when Neo finished before me. "awwwwww I lost" I pout

- You did well too, I thought I was done for sure... But now I can't anymore, ate too much. It read.

- Sameeeeeee, I could literally hibernate right now. I say as I flop my back on the back of the chair.

Later, when we got out of the breakfast place, we sort of headed nowhere. Our feet are leading to wherever they want us to go. After dozens of minutes later, we arrive near the docks. I ask Neo if she would be up to hang over there for a bit. She gives a nod of approval.

Neo's pov

It's been a while since I didn't go to the docks. Honestly, I think it'll be fun. I start skipping without noticing, which makes (y/n) giggle lightly. I'm really a child when I want to be one, and I don't care. It's fun just to be myself. It's also been a while since I've been myself, since I'm with (y/n) and not being with that Roman... he really doesn't want me to have my fun. Everything needs to be professional and serious. I'm his hunchman, yes, but not being able to be myself is outrageous.

- So, Neo, is there a reason why you have that umbrella? I mean, it's sunny. Or is it a parasol? But if it is, why don't you activate it? (y/n) asks.

- Always need to have your weapon on you. I point the umbrella towards her at a safe distance and activate the blade mechanism, which dart at a few inches from (y/n) throat. Understood?

- Uh? Y-yeah... She is clearly shocked and scared.

I retract my blade and ask her where her weapon is.

- You really want to see it? (I don't know if she showed Neo the weapon but I'm lazy to check, so if she did, oh well)

- Sure, I mean, I'm interested.

(y/n) crosses her arms and takes two swords looking thing and connects them, making a bow (the bow is stylish but not too stylish, it's like a mechanical compound bow without the string)

- Uh (y/n), is that a bow?

- It is, looks good uh? She says.

- Yeah, but don't you have any string or even arrows? I ask clearly confused at her weapon.

- It's quite easy, the only downfall of it: it takes some blood from me and makes an arrow like that. The arrow solidify itself, so it's like that cool looking blood/crystal arrow thing like.

- Is it safe for you to use? I tilt my head to the side.

- Of course, it just takes like an arrow length of blood, and like it's fine. Plus, I have another weapon that I mostly use, and it's safer. (y/n) says.

- Which is?

She reaches in her pocket and picks up two small black/pink cylinders in her hand.

- What's that? I write and show her.

- You'll see, magic will happen. She gives me a warm smile.

Then the cylinders magically turns into two tonfa blade thing. The frame color is black and the blade itself is pink. The other one frame color is pink with a black blade.

- Doesn't use blood or anything, which is good, but I pretty much mastered them. (y/n) says.

- You sure? Would like to see them in action one day.

- Same goes for you, I think we both have interesting weapons. Oh, I have an idea! Do you want to spare? Plus, if we do, it'll be going to make me practice a bit.

- I mean, sure but where would you want to practice?

- Here? Let's just hope that there won't be any officers around.

- Oooooo, I like that. So, like how will it work?

- We go until someone forfeit? And the boundaries are non existent.

- What do you mean? I ask (y/n).

- The whole city is the arena. She has a big smirk on her face.

- Right, I'm up for the challenge! And I won't go easy on you trust me. :)

We both get in front of each other and look at each other, waiting for the other to make the first move.

3rd person pov

The two girls are in their battle stance. (y/n) has her weapons in front of her. As for Neo, she has her umbrella facing (y/n). They simply look at each other, analysing one another. Both of them are as still as statues, waiting for the other to strike first. Neo finally breaks the tension between them and attacks (y/n). She easily blocks the attack and swiftly ducks and kicking Neo's left knee, which makes her loose balance a bit. Neo regains her composure, and nearly avoids (y/n)'s blade. She sees an opening and strikes (y/n)'s side with her umbrella. Both girls had made physical contact on one another. It was only some weak attacks, just to see what's the level of the opponent. Now the real battle starts. (y/n) swiftly runs towards neo with her tonfa ready to attack. Which makes Neo have a defensive stance, predicting that (y/n) will strike her sides. So, she puts her umbrella ready to block. But at the last second, (y/n) slides behind Neo and kicks her back with some force. Which makes Neo fly a few feet until she lands trying to regain her stance. (y/n) take the opportunity to strike again. The umbrella wielder turns around and sees the other girl heading her way. She decides to use her semblance which makes an image of herself. The wolf girl swings her blade. At her surprise, the image of Neo shatters into pieces.

The battle continues, as both girls manages to land a hit on the other.
