Pain. Pain and hatred. Those two feelings filled the number one hero, whom is known as Deku. The greenette wanted to ignore this issue, he just wanted to believe that it was all just a misunderstanding on his part, but with the photos Uraraka has provided, Izuku knows for a fact it's all fake. In the photo on his phone, there were two people kissing. Who, might you ask, were kissing? Well, none other than Midoriya's fiance, Katsuki, and his best friend, Shōto!
Over the years, Izuku thought Bakugō had changed. He'd thought that maybe, just maybe, the explosive man wasn't a butt-hurt suck up who'd cheat the ever living day out of his lover, but apparently, Izuku put his money on the wrong team. Then Shōto, Todoroki of all people! Do you know how infuriating that is?! The freckled hero felt used! As though nobody really cared whatsoever about him!
Currently, the hero sat patiently on the leather couch in his and Katsuki's apartment, deep green eyes crying out tears the size of golf balls. The warm, salty blobs flowed down his cheeks and onto the phone screen, sometimes onto his lips, though Midoriya didn't care. All he cared for is when Bakugō would walk through the door, and Izuku would present his knowledge. When that happens, Midoriya will probably inform Katsuki that the marriage is off, give the blonde the ring that was currently on the coffee table, and move out within the next few days. You might think he's overreacting, but with how much pain and sorrow he's experiencing, Izuku can't really think clearly.
After what seemed like ages, the door made a soft 'click’ noise, and in entered the star cheater. Katsuki himself. “Oi, Deku! I'm ho-..-me… What's wrong?” The man with piercing red eyes asked, setting down the plastic bags filled with groceries. Why's his fiance like this? Did his mother die on the operating table?! Oh, that'd be horrific, especially when her son would be married within just a few weeks! Soft mutters left Midoriya's lips, though the cries were way too loud for it to be heard. “Hah? What'd you sa-”
“I said, it's over!” The greenette snapped, his gaze lifting to the taller of the two, who was now towering over Izuku with a worried expression. God, the words he said… they felt so weird on his tongue… Izuku wishes to never, never need to say that ever again. Even thinking of them made huge cracks in a heart that was usually open for everyone. Bakugō looked down to Izuku with surprise, almond shaped eyes widening.
“What?! Why?!” He cried out in false anger, furrowing his eyebrows while hands turned into fists. “What'd I do?!” Katsuki knew damn well what he did. Spend the nights Izuku was working with Shōto. But, maybe… Just maybe Izuku didn't know what he'd done. Maybe Katsuki could debunk whatever else was said, and still marry the beautiful man in front of him. In all honesty, Katsuki doesn't know why exactly he'd turn to Todoroki for his desires when Midoriya was out saving lives. It all started with a drunk night, and ever since, Katsuki knows Shōto's bed sheets like the back of his hand. Izuku was perfect. Izuku was intelligent, funny, bashful, emotional, and would give his life up for another in a heartbeat. It's just…. Katsuki isn't satisfied anymore with what he has..
Midoriya glared up to the man who was around twenty four now, barely older than he, standing up while shoving his phone into the explosive blonde's face.
“DOES THIS ANSWER YOUR QUESTION?!”
Izuku yelled out in response, more frustrated at himself than Katsuki. Judging by the way the tanned hero paled, it really did answer the question. Part of Izuku really wanted to forgive Bakugō, but… this was the final straw… Katsuki opened up his mouth to speak, though before he could, Izuku continued. “Am I just some sort of game?! I didn't want to think you were cheating on my! I truly didn't! I've argued with Uraraka about it for months! But guess who finally got proof?! I'll give you a hint, not me! I tried, Katsuki, I-I fucking tried…” Izuku whispered, sobbing loudly afterwards.Katsuki stared down at the man in front of him, who was crying out his lungs. It's… It's all his fault.. If Bakugō didn't venture over to Shōto, if Katsuki kept loyal to Midoriya, if Katsuki was actually patient, then this all would have been avoided! Midoriya wouldn't be this hurt! Tears pricked the corners of Katsuki's eyes as he just watched this whole thing, covering his mouth to prevent any broken sounds from escaping his mouth. “I-Izuku, I'm so-”
“Don't you dare call me I-Izuku! You've lost that privilege! You've lost everything, Bakugou-Kouhai… Everything that included me… I-I'm moving in with Kirishima, he's the only one I can trust now..” the greenette snapped, shivering as he pushed past Katsuki.
“MIDORIYA-SENPAI! PLEASE!” Katsuki shouted out, losing all his cool. The tears were pouring. The voice cracks were coming. Everything, absolutely everything… was coming, crashing down on Bakugou at that very moment.
