"Yerim, look you've got mail." Mrs. Lee told her daughter.

With a drowsy expression, Yerim opened her eyes from her amazing sleep to see what her dearest mother was talking about.

"What is it?", Yerim asked before the two read the letter. As they read, confusion was brought upon their faces. They knew Yerim had experienced some magical occurrences, surprising them at the time, but they never thought twice about it because, well, magic can't exist. They dumbed it down to some bull shit scientific explanation and moved on. But now that they're being given a letter saying Yerim is being excepted into a whole academy for that kind of stuff, they can't believe it.

"Is this a joke?", Yerim asked her mom.

"Idk. Seems pretty legit. There's even an address, well more like meeting place: Stop Sign at corner of Woodway Dr." Mrs. Lee replied.

"Eh, let's ignore it. I'm not a witch or wizard or whatever they're talking about so if you excuse me I'll be on my way to take a good nap. Goodbye mom." Yerim said ready to close her eyes and peacefully go to sleep, but once she saw her mother's weird expression, she decided to ask what was wrong.

"Is everything okay mom?"

"Yeah, it's just, magicdoesexistandi'vekindabeenlyingtoyouaboutitnot. Also, I'm a witch."

"YoUr'E a WhaT?"

"A witch"

"Ok. So why haven't you told me this before?" Yerim asked calmly because she was honestly getting excited that her mom confirmed the letter's legitimacy. She's happy something exciting might actually happen in her 16 years of life.

"Magic is real and I kept it from you because when I was your age magic caused problems, a lot of problems and I didn't want that for you. But I also know that this academy is a good place and I even went there myself. So will you go?" her mom said excitement coming to her voice in the last sentence.

Yerim was never one to make big deals out of things and just decided to disregard the fact that her mother kept something from her for so long and just chose to brush it off and consider the main thing here: should or should she not go? Obviously the first thing that came to her head was no. She has been in Busan her whole life, why would she throw it all away to go to a boarding school in Seoul with people she'd never met. But a part of Yerim was curious, curious of what it would be like to be a real life Harry Potter. So she responded with:

"I'll think about it."
