Isaac was really starting to hate the inside of the boys changing room. It smelled really bad, it was also usually full of people that hated Isaac. It was funny, honestly, how Isaac only ever turned up in the changing rooms when he had to beat Elliot Johnan up. He was already in a horrible mood and the idea of causing Elliot pain made Isaac smile. Elliot had fucked with Jake. Had fucked with them. Isaac was going to fuck him up and remind him that Jake deserved better than his shit and if he wanted to out Jake then Elliot would be there to put him in hospital.
Isaac was leaning against the same brick wall as he did all those months ago. It was almost poetic. Elliot was the reason Jake had even given him a chance and he was also the reason Jake was now avoiding him. If it had been any other day, Isaac would have shrugged it off. He would have waited a few days and spoken to Jake like a mature, normal human being. But, Isaac had the worst day of his life and now he wanted to let off a little steam and Elliot had offered it up to him on a shiny plate.
Isaac was still reeling from yesterday. His dad had drunk himself into oblivion last night after his uncle and mum left. Isaac wasn't surprised, he had expected it. It was a strange comfort at how quickly their lives had gone back to normal after being turned upside down. The girls weren't talking to Benji either and Benji was doing his best avoid any mention of Kaya. Freddy was worried, afraid that their group had been torn apart by secrets. Isaac was too occupied thing all things Jake to really care about his friends. They'll sort it out eventually, he didn't know how long he had to save his relationship with Jake.
As if right on time, Elliot walked around the corner his head down as he fiddled with something in his hands. Isaac couldn't care less. Isaac waited until Elliot was opening his locker before he pounced. Slamming the locker door shut, Elliot barely moved his hands away before Isaac had him pushed up against the wall. Elliot's eyes widened in shock when he realised it was Isaac who was doing this. It gave Isaac a warm feeling all over when he realised that Elliot was scared of him.
"Houton what the fuck are you doing?" Elliot winced out as Isaac slammed him back into the wall. Isaac didn't care if he hurt Elliot or not. He was beyond pissed.
"You wanna threaten people, make them feel scared? I'll fucking kill you." Isaac growled out, tightened his grip on Elliot, trying his hardest to push Elliot further into the wall. Elliot gripped onto Isaac's wrists trying his hardest to soften the harsh shoving.
Elliot kicked his knee hitting Isaac in the hip, "I don't know what the fuck you are talking about."
Isaac surprised by the kick let go of Elliot. Isaac stumbled backwards while Elliot tried to catch his breath, putting as much space between him and the wall as he could as well as avoiding going anywhere near Isaac. Isaac fought the urge to lunge at Elliot and attack, he knew if he did there was a high chance that Jake would never speak to him again. Isaac really didn't understand Elliot fucking Johnan was best friends with Jake. It didn't make sense. Jake deserved far better friends, he probably deserved a far better boyfriend. Not that Isaac was his boyfriend. Yet.
"Jake. He thinks you're about to out him. I swear to everything if you do, I'll fucking enjoy ripping you apart." Spat Isaac, itching to throw a punch. It would make everything worth while if he could.
Much to Isaac's surprise, Elliot looked shocked, "No. No! I wasn't trying to do that." Elliot ran a hand through his hair while he paced, looking very upset, "I wanted him to know I didn't care. I wouldn't do that to him. I wouldn't do that to anyone. Especially not him."
If Isaac was a better person, he most definitely would have not done what he did next.
He punched Elliot in the face.
Elliot dropped to the floor clutching the side of his face, he stared up at Isaac who was smiling smugly at him. It was so worth. Isaac didn't even care to think about the consequences.
"What was that for!" Elliot screeched, scrambling up and away from Isaac.
"For telling Jake I told you about us. I didn't, you little shit and Jake doesn't want anything to do with me."
Elliot sighed before pinching the bridge of his nose, "He didn't understand. I said that you knew I knew. We talked about it at that party, you know before Julian beat the shit out of you again."
Shit. Isaac had forgotten all about that. Isaac wanted to punch Elliot again. Isaac had tried to his best to repress that night completely, to be honest he tried to repress every memory of the meathead. He couldn't remember much of it anyways. He remembered Jake coming to save him, that warm feeling spread through Isaac at the idea of Jake wanting to help him. Whenever he thought of Jake that warm feeling spread through him. He was really starting to like the idea of Jake being around all the time.
"How the fuck do you know?" Isaac asked, generally curious to how Elliot of all people had caught on to their little secret and no one else had.
Elliot rolled his eyes at Isaac, "The two of you aren't exactly subtle and I am the king of secret relationships, so I can tell when two people are hooking up with each other."
Isaac's interest peaked at that. Who had Elliot been creeping around with? And how many people had he been with in secret if he was the self-proclaimed king? Isaac was slightly impressed, and he hated himself for it.
"You're going to have to tell Jake that." Isaac said, his only care that Jake would stop freaking out, "Before he has an aneurysm." He added quickly.
Elliot nodded, "Look Houton, we don't get along but I'm glad. You make him happy. I'll sort this out."
"Thanks, I guess." Isaac shrugged. He would've fixed it with Jake with or without Elliot's cooperation.
Elliot smirked at him, "Don't worry, he'll be fucking you again in no time."
Isaac barely resisted the want to hit Elliot in the face as he walked past him laughing his head off. The less time he spent around Elliot, the better. He hated the guy. Despite his feelings for him though, Isaac couldn't help but smile though. Elliot was going to make sure Jake understood that Isaac hadn't betrayed his trust. Jake would know and then hopefully everything would be ok again. He needed everything to be ok again. Once that was fixed, he could fix the mess with his friends.
